Thanks for the input, all! I realise that this game is perhaps a little specialised. Version 0.6 – Tried to make the manual a little clearer; added keyboard input for creating compound propositions (good call); I don’t think that there is a bug with the timers (or if there is, I couldn’t find it): those having trouble might want to make sure that the timer is only triggered once, e.g., if proposition a contains the timer and b contains the trigger, then the compound for the timer could be b AND NOT a (i.e., don’t trigger if the timer has already been triggered).

Pretty nice game. However I would provide a slightly more friendly way to create the compounds: keyboard input might help (maybe use numbers for the compound elements?) and be able to use the arrows in a compound to retype a part, rather than having to delete and retype the entire line.
Other than that, it may be a bit hard for most people to figure out how it works. Especially those who don't know logic systems :). Might help to add a tutorial for a level which shows how to build a function and what it will do?

It's a little easy in my opinion. I'd really like a level editor so I could make some more complex puzzles.

Tried some more with calling on a timer... seemingly you can call on a timer if you use a later proposition in the list, but not with an earlier one. So if B is a timer, a compound A cannot use it, but a compound C can. Not sure whether this is a bug as it does make sense in programming, but it would be good to point out, especially since it ensures you can't use abcde as the input lines for the bot in those levels.

took one look at the game and decided it was horrendously complex so didnt even bother trying. way to put players off

It's a neat game, and I'll keep tabs on it, but Tenshi Samshei is correct: Compound editing needs to be improved. It's almost impossible to play as is, which is unfortunate.
