Love the concept, the music was a nice touch, the mute buttons were appreciated, I somewhat agree with suburb but I usually didn't get shocked more then twice. What annoyed me is the win screen, I wanted to get to the next phrase faster but actually finishing the word resulted in me having to wait, get out of focus to click "Play Again?" there was enough words/phrases to keep me hooked for a long time, but I really wanted to know how many words I had "discovered" and how many words were left. A stats feature would be great. I have a ton of graphical suggestions but it'd make this post to long. I'll probably play this game every few days or so, so i might catch another game by you if your planning on making any more. If you do be sure to post some info on the game page/your profile :)
That's a good point on the "win screen" and waiting to "play again". I'll be sure to fix that in future games. I have 7 new concepts in the works but programming has been delayed due to technical difficulties. I appreciate the critique and hopefully I can provide a greater experience next time.

ME: This man is on death row, should we kill him? Prison Warden: Nah, let's play hangman, every time we guess a wrong letter he gets shocked. ME: Okay, lets pick some letters, Q,W,Z,Y,U, 7, and the batman symbol! Oops, he died.

Seems like an awesome hangman 2011, but waiting for the electricity to finish, getting longer everytime is a bit annoying. Obviously there was some effort put into this graphic, but i still find it annoying after a game or two.

@suburbanpsyco6, Thanks for the critique. My original intention with extending the electricity for each sequential wrong answer was to convey a sense of going from a quick jolt to full-on electrocution (extrapolated by the lose screen), but I can see how it could get annoying after a while. I'll be sure to fix that in future games.

Great concept. It's about time somebody updated hangman. ;) I like the theme on the words, though it seems like it would be limited if I kept playing. I think it would be better if instead of the electricity for missing a letter there's an executioner who gets closer to the lever with each miss.
