Descripción

Collapse blocks by matching three from a massive grid of five hundred blocks.

I'm not too proud of this game but it's good for a high score challenge.

Quinn's Review: Although fairly well implemented mechanically, there's little to distinguish Block 500 from the many, many other games out there with the same premise and gameplay. The colours are bland, though the score overlay is a nice touch. The background is atrocious, the sounds are average at best. There are no gameplay elements here, no level endings, no targets, goals or unlockables, no modes - you simply click click click until you get bored. Which is pretty swiftly. If this were a demo by a novice game designer I'd applaud it as technically well done for a proof of concept, but as this is made by a website which specialises in just this kind of game, I have to thumb it down. There's nothing here to recommend Blocky 500 to you.

OK, not bad - "helpful feedback"... Needs "tarting up", better graphics, ability to quit / restart / turn OFF music (etc) - needs better score for (say) 10 blocks than "10" (first block = 1, next 2, next 3, 4, 5 etc - to motiviate people to go for bigger blocks (a block of 100+ should be worth mega score) ... perhaps start at 2 for the second colour, three for the third and so on - so later colours are worth more) - multipliers?, bombs? etc etc ... 4/5 for encouragment!!!

In fairness, there is a goal: get the most points. However, that's mostly luck. On the whole, this game isn't much fun.

If there is no goal, why keep score?
