How does one die without being in combat? I took out the power plant in sector B and was reading my next assignment...to take out another power plant and a warehouse, plus some more planes. I didn't even finish reading it and I was dead (red background with outline of skull). What's with that...was the timer still running although I wasn't in battle?

Fun game. The fact that you can shoot the enemies across the map and they won't come after you unless you get close makes it a bit too easy though.
