Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. This brief tutorial is designed to show you how to make your own dynamic textField inside a button in
Flash AS3 using Flash CS4. You can use something other than Flash CS4 but that won't be covered in this tutorial.
In this tutorial we will:
1) Create a button with a textField in the upState, overState and downState.
2) Write some code to get the textField to change.
3) Have fun with our new button!
