CASH. POWER. PRESTIGE. LIQUOR.
NYC Mafiosi: the Prohibition-era Mafia Management Game!
New York City, 1929: welcome to the height of the American Prohibition. The Five Families have cornered the illegal liquor distribution in all five boroughs of the city. Your father, the Don of the Leonesi Family Mafia, is assassinated on the street: inheriting the crown, it is now up to you - as boss - to restore the supremacy of your Family and take back the streets that you used to own. Capisce?

really easy and add a "maximum bribe" button, because i hate having to click repeatedly to bribe the city when i take other other mob's areas

Great game! I finished it in 50 days. The game is very linear, you invest, bribe, and takeover; there should be more elements to manage. I find that it is tedious to maintain your shipments and supply of wine in each district and there is not much interaction between the city elements and your mafia; I did not have any encounters with police or ship raids at all. During wars, it would be helpful if we could assign the number of mobs defending each district; 1 mob defending each district cannot repel any takeover.

I like it,but I agree it becomes rote after a bit...different income sources would be cool, ie drugs prostitution etc. Funny that the other gangs don't really fight each other for turf, just sit around and wait for you to grow exponentially. Maybe throw in some random events?

not a bad game, though its easy and repetitive, i still felt the need to take over the city before i played another game, i see hints of the game OMERTA in this, just a slightly less detailed and intricate flash version of it.

Kinda disappointed with the end, I guess I was expecting a grander ending, maybe a screen saying how well I did overall and maybe some stats. The newsfeed could do with putting the information about how much liquor I currently possess but I can understand why you didn't put it in.
I had finished the game at about day 45 but ended up chasing the last family around as I had no way of increasing my defence to my areas thus allowing the rival family to area hop until i had enough money to but the area they were in outright. Its not a game breaking problem but it was just annoying.
Other than those problems the game is great! spent 90% of my battery playing it. 4/5 stars
