Nice idea, but you should have some AI who refuse to change the team. And maybe a "team balance system" that will move some player to another team if a team had too many people.
More AI too, and it seems most game the "more player side" would have some advantage, and the side with more newbies would be more losing more probably (maybe displaying a rank on each of the AI and calculate score gain based on contribution of each member: rank plus a bit random, newbies sometimes got luck)
