It's kind of disproportionate that the footsoldiers can deal as much damage to me as armored mechs.

I just can't rate this well when the player can be punished by picking up power ups. The number of times I've lost in Survival due to losing my rockets from picking up a flamethrower is painful, and I'm sure others have had the same thing happen repeatedly.

Its pretty shit that you have wade through all those people, kill a boss then have to go right back to the start because your pilot is a lazy dickhead who can't be bothered to pick you up from an area you just cleared of ALL troops.
