Deskripsyon
The first game I ever made. Almost a deconstruction of the RPG genre, stripping out movement and items, but keeping up the satisfaction of leveling up your character, buying better gear, and beating baddies.
Original Description: A simple RPG I coded after learning global variables, really more of a test than an actual game. All of the info is on the credits. Don't really pay much attention to the graphics or quality of the buttons, this was all about actionscript. You can fight monsters (Well monster, all the same one) using two different styles of attacks and after you kill it, you get gold and EXP that you can use to buy weapons and level up your stats. Don't forget to buy weapons and level up your stats before you start a fight and to run away if you are fighting a loosing battle.

I agree, I like the look. What you have works, which is great, not everyone can say that about their games ;) But it does feel like it needs more. A fight again before heading to town would be helpful as well. I'm killing things with a hit or two, so it feels like it takes more time go from town to the fight than it does for the fight.

Not bad for a first draft, I like the concept and the graphics choices, more monsters, a map and a choice of character and get a nice rpg.

It looks really nice so far :). Maybe you should work on the story. I mean, Âŋwhy is the protagonist being attacked by an Imperial Footsoldier? Âŋ Is there some kind of corruption in the government of this city that apparently is a symbol hope? ÂŋWhy is the protagonist wanting "a fresh start? ÂŋDid he went through a traumatic / life changing event? Stuff like that.
