Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Deskripsyon
Ably assisted by a monkey sidekick and a labradoodle professor, Aqua Boy is an intrepid underwater adventurer - scouring the uncharted depths for mysterious, long-forgotten artifacts. Unfortunately, his latest mission has gone drastically wrong!
Take control of Aqua Boy as he emerges from the wreckage of his submarine, embarking on an epic adventure through the ruins of a sunken city. Meet a host of eccentric characters, from fussy bureaucrats to mercenary bees; upgrade your weapons and defences, acquiring new abilities that open up previously inaccessible areas; do battle with all kinds of strange creatures, including five bosses.

Ooh, well done. I was curious how I was going to know when one of the powerups was about to run out. Making a ring of powerup icons that surround the player then slowly wink out as the time runs down is a fantastic idea!

(Spoiler?) there are 4 secret items (coffee, tool pack, banana gun, pajamas), the later 2 would change your look. When entering each room, look for isolated areas with no apparent paths, then u shall find them.

Great game. Being underwater and allowing you to swim freely through the map took a lot of the usual pains out of metroidvania games (all the platforming required to go back to certain areas). Fun, lots of good innovations, and for those of you getting lost, the flashing square on the mini map will tell you where to go. 5/5.
