Level-Upper: Global Testlevel

In the full version (which comes out never, probably. I don’t know, I’m not that great at keeping promises like that), you can gain new powers and level up your stats to defeat all evil. For now, however, I set up this test level for you guys to play, where you can test out the most basic gameplay mechanics. If you’re knowledgeable in Construct 2, and you find any bugs, feel free to suggest how to fix them by PMing me on Kongregate. Known bugs typically involve the dash and fireball moves.

I forgot to mention that this is a new version. Changes include the massive slowing of charging a fireball, enemies, and scoring, so while you wait for the game to come out, you can try and see how many enemies you can defeat before you’re defeated yourself.

- Basics -
Use the left or right arrow keys to move.
Press X to jump.
- Moves -
Press Z to punch when you pick up the fist icon.
Press X in the air to double jump when you pick up the X-arrow-2 icon.
Hold Z when you pick up the fireball icon. You’ll first throw a punch, then you’ll immediately hold your arms behind you, charging up a fireball behind you. After a bit, the fireball will turn a brighter color. If you let go of Z when the fireball is colored red-yellow, you’ll throw a fireball.
If you jump at a wall, then try and press the direction that’s away from the wall, you’ll kick off the wall and do another jump. This can be chained to do the wall jump.
- HUD Buttons -
Click on these buttons to increase some of your stats.
NOTE: These buttons are exclusively for testing purposes and will obviously not be available in the final game.
Clicking [+ jump] will increase your jump strength by 25.
Clicking [+ speed] will increase your normal speed by 25.
Clicking [+ hold] will increase your ability to sustain your jump by 25 milliseconds.
Clicking [reset] will reset the test level so you can mess around with it again.
- Scoring -
As of now, scoring is technically impossible, since I have yet to actually integrate the API with the game.
