Ilang dekada matapos ang iyong kamatayan, nagpasya ang mga makukulit na buhay na tao na mag-party sa iyong dating mansyon. Hindi papayag ang iyong ligalig na multo sa ganitong pangyayari; panahon na para takutin silang lahat. Ang The Haunting of Magnolia Manor ay isang strategy game kung saan gagamitin mo ang iba’t ibang abilidad para takutin at paalisin ang mga bisita sa iyong dating mansyon. Sa bawat antas, mayroong planning phase at actual gameplay phase. Sa planning phase, ilalagay mo ang mga abilidad na sa tingin mo ay pinaka-epektibo; sa gameplay phase, ia-activate mo ang iba pang abilidad para matapos ang iyong misyon.
Paano Maglaro
I-click lang ang icon ng abilidad na gusto mong gamitin, tapos i-click sa antas para ilagay o gamitin ito. Maaari mo ring gamitin ang hotbar functions gamit ang number keys 1 – 6.
Mga Update mula sa Developer
Guys, I’m really sorry for all the bugs. I’m going to sit down this weekend and go through the entire game, making sure that every level is both beatable and you’re able to get a full scare on each level. I thought I had playtested all this, and I have no clue how it all got messed up. Thank you for your patience.
10-27-2011: Fixed it so that level 24 is beatable. Hopefully that should be the last of those problems.

10-26-2011: Fixed a bug that wouldn’t allow level 21 to load. All levels load now.

As lesonxu says below there's a bug on lvl 26 when you get an extra door and have three you can only place 2 but not the 3rd as the rooms wont be accessible to each other.
Quite a fun and addictive game though shame i got all the way to lvl 26 and had to stop :(
