Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Deskripsyon
"SteamBirds: Survival" is a dogfighting strategy game that lets you take on an ever-growing number of enemies until you finally bite the dust. It is the sequel to the hit game "Steambirds", designed by Andy Moore (aka "Weasello") and Daniel Cook, which was played by over 10m people worldwide.
SB:S on Kongregate features 16 distinct planes, each of which have unique strengths and weakness that emphasize different play styles. Each plane has its own local and global leaderboard, so you can pick your favorite then fight to distinguish yourself as the master of that plane!
How long can you last against an endless onslaught of enemies? A million lives depend on the answer to that question!
Paano Maglaro
Play the tutorial. Pick a plane. Then live as long as you can. ;-)

I wish we could see the stats after a battle - how many planes downed, what types, what accuracy, and so on. It'd be cool to know how well you did in more detail than a simple score.

Worst thing in the game is that if you bomb a swarm of enemies as you die, you don't get the points. Totally contradictory to the spirit of the game. (Rate +1 if you agree, so the developer can see)

I would be very cool if you could see the entire battle replayed without the stops for turns after you get a game over.

When I started playing this game, I thought the Bomb power-up wasn't very powerful, so I didn't use it. But when I used the Bombino-B150 in combat for the first time I realized that the Bomb power-up was actually incredibly powerful. Perhaps even overpowered. You see, its explosion radius is larger than the range of almost all enemy aircraft. So with a handful of Bombs, you can demolish enemy Spotters and Behemoths without getting a scratch on your plane. Just a little tip.

I've read a lot of people complaining about historical accuracy without worrying about the fact that these are FUSION POWERED STEAM AIRCRAFT!
