Needs multiple balls. And some warning before it starts. "Always hold the ball" doesn't count as instructions...

You have to use LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys, not UP.

I hit "start game" and less than a second later I fail. I don't even get time to see the field, let alone what I am trying to achieve. I assume I am controlling a ball.... I see a ball flying downwards to the right. I arrow up to compensate. The screen goes blank. Not enough time to see what to do.
