> Kongregate does not make games, they leech off the hard work of others.
the second statement is true, the first one no.
Kongai would be the main one kongregate has made.
[here](http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/Kongregate?games_page=1) look at those games.
There is no site that creates games actually. Armorgames pay developers to make games to them. Newgrounds is more of a free community to upload music, writings, talk in forums get tons of badges (seriously) and upload any kind of game. So yes, they leech off the hard work of others, as every other gaming website. Just maybe private developers websites, like axis-games, game in a bottle and others, but they are just to upload games that are uploaded everywhere
Bubble Tanks 3 and Bubble Tanks: Arena are pretty fun. They are enjoyable for awhile.
Road of Dead (or Road of the Dead, i don’t remember) is awesome. Zombies and cars mixed (:P).
Transformice is nice. You can play it no-stop for like, a month or so.
Toss the Turtle made me laugh hard. It’s really fun and addicting (it has some nice achievements btw).
TDP4 is more frustration than anything else. Not many nice things to say about it.
Museum of Thieves is REALLY good. It’s a puzzle game (find the differences) and i love it.
.:The Game:. and REPLAY .:The Game:. are sooooo funny. I was still laughing like an hour after playing those two.
These are the best games in Kongregate, in my opinion. (except TDP4)

I don’t like the use of the word “leech” here.
What Kongregate does is provide a service. They enable developers to get their games to an audience of thousands quickly and with minimum fuss. In return for hosting my game they get a 50% cut off the ad revenue. Without this site (or similar sites) I would potentially need to set up and pay for my own domain/storage/bandwicth. I would then probably have to spend a decent amount of time setting up the actual website. Then I would have to figure out a way to get people to my website in large numbers!
So rather than Kongregate “leeching”, they are merely providing a service.
If you like games with story and you don’t mind the games being a little old, I would recommend The series: Book of Mages, it’s and awesome game, although mostly for the storyline and choices you get to make, First game is only for backstory thought, not really that fun.
We also have the endless war series if you want to just go around killing things, and if youre in the puzzles “I saw her——” series is really good, but a bit easy. Again a quite fun little game.
Dont forget to play “You find yourself in a room” by 2Darray, Its a textbased adventure but it will sure make you laugh, and if you dont enjoy it isnt the games fault. Purely your own.
**I have not been using proper grammar and lots of shorts in this comment, No G-Nazis please**

They mostly fall into the [Point&Click](http://www.kongregate.com/point-and-click-games) and [Adventure](http://www.kongregate.com/adventure-games) tags. A few games I would suggest to you:
Kingdom of Liars: [Episode 1](http://www.kongregate.com/games/Hyptosis/kingdom-of-liars-1) [Episode 2](http://www.kongregate.com/games/Hyptosis/kingdom-of-liars-2) [Episode 3](http://www.kongregate.com/games/Hyptosis/kingdom-of-liars-3) (from the same makers of Hood series, so you might already know it)
The Last Door: [Chapter 1](http://www.kongregate.com/games/TheGameKitchen/the-last-door-chapter-1-the-letter) [Chapter 2](http://www.kongregate.com/games/TheGameKitchen/the-last-door-chapter-2-memories) [Chapter 3](http://www.kongregate.com/games/TheGameKitchen/the-last-door-chapter-3-the-four-witnesses) (these have a good story but are more of the horror genre, also graphics are pixelated unlike the games you mentioned)
[The Everloom](http://www.kongregate.com/games/Kajenx/the-everloom) (also pixel graphics, but more of a fantasy story)
[The Grey Rainbow](http://www.kongregate.com/games/BlackOliveGames/the-grey-rainbow) (the pencil-like art might not be appreciated by many, just like the general atmosphere of the game, but I say give it a try)
[Tainted Olive: Chapter 1](http://www.kongregate.com/games/BlackOliveGames/tainted-olive-chapter-1) (from the same makers of The Grey Rainbow; a bit short but you might enjoy it)
Covert Front: [Episode 1](http://www.kongregate.com/games/MateuszSkutnik/covert-front-episode-1) [Episode 2](http://www.kongregate.com/games/MateuszSkutnik/covert-front-2-station-on-the-horizon) [Episode 3](http://www.kongregate.com/games/MateuszSkutnik/covert-front-3-night-in-zurich) [Episode 4](http://www.kongregate.com/games/MateuszSkutnik/covert-front-4) (a series I really enjoyed playing)
[Pirates of the Undead Sea](http://www.kongregate.com/games/PahuPahu/pirates-of-the-undead-sea) (not as serious as the other games, but it gave me a good laugh in some scenes)
[Morningstar](http://www.kongregate.com/games/RedHerringLabs/morningstar) (a sci-fi adventure, so I'm not sure you will like it but I'm putting it here in the list just in case)
Also, did you know that a game from the same series of the Trader of Stories is on Kongregate? It's not easy to find since the makers uploaded it through a different account, but here it is: [A Grain of Truth](http://www.kongregate.com/games/mrudi/a-grain-of-truth)
And I will complete my personal list of favorites with two games that don't fall into the genre of point&click adventure, but still have a wonderful story:
[Defender's Quest](http://www.kongregate.com/games/LevelUpLabs/defenders-quest-prelude) (tower defense game, also keep in mind that you can only play the first chapters for free, the complete version costs some kreds)
[RPG Shooter: Starwish](http://www.kongregate.com/games/xdanond/rpg-shooter-starwish) (I've never been a fan of shoot'em-up games, but this one caught me till the end thanks to its story. It even has different endings - some of which will give you all the feelings once you got used to like the various characters - based on your choices throughout the game)
