Does Kongregate have an ongoing promotion with extra-mile-marketing.com? I got an email from them and I just want to make sure that it's legit. Below is the email I received from them:
Its TOTALLY fake! Ignore it! SHIFTY EYES SHIFTY EYES Ok fine.. its legit. buuuuh… I guess I didnt win then… :/ If you dont want to claim it though, its cool. It’ll go to someone else. Or you can put MY info down if you are REALLY worried..? |
Yup it’s legit. Congrats :D |
Whoa…Grats. :( |
I knew it, someone that isn’t known shall win. Congrats either way. |
Well, duh. The chances are higher. |
Whoa, I never expected this! I’m just wondering if I can still claim the prize even if I’m from the Philippines. Just have to wait for Mya’s response then. I’ll update you guys! :) |
Lucky! Cries for not winning |
Wow, congrats. :D |
Have all the winners been notified yet? Still has hopes |
Wait, that wasn’t one of the prizes… The prizes were The Xbox and the game, and then just the game… Right? How can this be real? |
They give the prizes in the form of giftcards to an online video game outlet, Henry. |
Henry, if you check out the rules, they actually just say that grand prize will get a large gift card, and non-grand prize will get a smaller gift card EDIT: Ninja’d |
The prize is in the form of a gift card equal to the value of the game (or game + console) at the time of drawing. |
I hope they haven’t sent out all the invites. D: I haven’t got one yet. |
Congratulations :) I’m kinda glad I didn’t win, being Australian. It would have sucked more to win and not be able to receive the prize than not to win at all. |
Congrats kyutbabe!
I think the Philippines are ok – the rules say that the contest is not valid in Quebec, Australia, Puerto Rico, and Mexico due to local laws. There may be others but hopefully you’re good. I’m sure they will answer you promptly – let me know if they dont. |
Congrats! |
lololololololololol so hilarious. And, are these things becoming weekly? |
Thanks for the congratulations! I still would like to receive a copy of the game. If they don’t ship to Philippines then I’ll settle for the cash equivalent :) |
Probably would’ve been a good idea to say somewhere in the Sweepstakes Rules that your e-mail would be coming from there and not from an @kongregate e-mail so that people weren’t suspicious that they were being phished. |
But what are you suppose to do with the tickets if you havn’t won? |
gaze at them and weep? |
Oh no! I can’t check my e-mail with this computer and I got a laptop to but it’s broken, happend yesterday. What happends IF I win? |
Why does her email say Grand prize, yet only for 75 $??? I don’t think you could get a 360 and Fallout 3 with 75$ :O Also there is horrible grammar in that email as well as many misspelled words. |
