If a link won't work, try switching http**s**:// to http:// and vice versa.
In Flash projector sometimes a game may start, play the loading/sponsor animations, then go blank after a few seconds. Reload it in the same window (File menu > select the top link) to fix it.
Supernova users should add **supernova://play/?swfurl=** in front of the link.
*The screenshot must have the BoTD visible in the achievements tab and marked with the special stamp.*
>
*How to find these links yourself:*
Make a new bookmark and put the following as address:
javascript:scripts=document.getElementsByTagName("script");for(var i=0; i<scripts.length;i++){script_text=scripts[i].text;if (script_text.indexOf("swfurl")!== -1){url_text=String(script_text.match(/swfurl\"\:\"(.*?)\"\,\"flashvars/g));game_url=decodeURIComponent(url_text.substring(9,url_text.length-12));alert(game_url);exit;};};
Now, after opening a Flash game page, right-click on the area where the game is supposed to be, select This frame > Open frame in new tab (Chrome users may need the "Show frame" extension).
Then switch to that new tab and open the bookmark. It should give the link to the Flash game. Copy/paste to whatever player works for you.
If the above bookmarklet gives a *GameShell* link, use this one instead:
javascript:scripts=document.getElementsByTagName("script");for(var i=0; i<scripts.length;i++){script_text=scripts[i].text;if (script_text.indexOf("game_swf")!== -1){url_text=String(script_text.match(/game_swf\"\:\"(.*?)\"\,\"game_url/g));game_url=decodeURIComponent(url_text.substring(17,(url_text.length/2)-11));alert(game_url);exit;};};
** **

> `javascript: scripts=document.getElementsByTagName("script"); for(var i=0; i<scripts.length;i++) { script_text=scripts[i].text; if(script_text.indexOf("game_swf")!== -1) { url_text=String(script_text.match(/game_swf\"\:\"(.*?)\"\,\"game_url/g)); game_url="http://"+decodeURIComponent(url_text.substring(17,(url_text.length/2)-11)); alert(game_url); break; } else if(script_text.indexOf("swfurl")!== -1) { url_text=String(script_text.match(/swfurl\"\:\"(.*?)\"\,\"flashvars/g)); game_url=decodeURI(url_text.substring(9,url_text.length-12)); alert(game_url); break; }; };`

So... out of the 4 non-Flash games i can play only 2, pfff
And they run so slow here, i better watch paint dry.
The dragon game sounds interesting, too bad in never loaded past 90%. It just tried to rape my ancient CPU...
In the last game, are you supposed to be able to reach the first row of bricks by jumping? My guy jumps only half-way through. Don't know if he needs some upgrade, or it's just the game behaving like this when running at 3-4 FPS. At least he was able to climb the first pipe, yay!
What was so good about HTML5 games again? With Flash you can at least get some boost by decreasing the antialiasing and/or shrinking the game size...
Guess Kong goes on hold for me until i get a faster PC... someday... if it doesn't shut down by then...

That's what you think muhahahaha.
We won't really know till next week if they actually switched over to non-flash games or not. While it does appear to be the case (Thursday is the 1st and they said they would start it on the 1st) you gotta ask youself....
If they had a system in place for the BotD selector to select only non-flash games, why would start it in the middle of the week?

Never installed Unity player, just skipped those games. Yet I've the saturday badge. Looks like you dont need any additional player for that.

Yeah, just need a whole new PC for that.
They used a plugin in the past, just like Flash. It was working well back then.
Then they made the plugin unable to run here... and it did a forced update on each launch. Suddenly perfectly working games stopped launching at all, ugh.
Nowadays they don't use the plugin, but convert the games to a mashup of JS/WASM/WebGL.
JS and WebGL are mostly fine, but i can't run WASM for the same reason the latest plugin stopped working here...

OK, just to let people know, if you play Wednesday's game for the BOTD, make sure that IMMEDIATELY after killing the Ogre, and the "Ogre Slain, +500 XP" pops up, take a screen shot. There does not seem to be an official end of levels, so this will be your only way to prove you completed the requirement for Wednesday's BOTD. Good luck!
Edit: OK, I'm wrong. There is an official end of level, but it still doesn't show what that level is, just that the level reached its end, and doesn't say that you've killed the Ogre, so taking an immediate screenshot when it says, "Ogre Slain," is probably your best bet for proving you earned the badge.

Btw, only one game this week isn't playable either directly or through Supernova, and that was yesterday's. When I tried loading the game, I just got a blank popup from Supernova. All the others work though.

Not much. The only advantage to HTML5 is security is better than Flash
In other ways, such as what it can do per CPU cycle, Flash is superior to HTML5.

If WASM is involved, i don't think the "security" thing applies. After all, your browser compiles and executes some unknown code which could get swapped on the server (or midway for MiTM attack) at any time... This is worse than any JS/AS/whatever exploit possible.
I haven't checked, but probably WebGL could be exploited too, through shaders...
So, what security, lol?!

I''m sure there are theoretical exploits during the conversion, but I guess Kongregate figures the potential is so much smaller than just letting a hacker who has access to a flash game upload on Kong, to swap out a safe flash game with a hacked flash game with new exploit.. that can potentially show up for years.

Just stumbled upon this [FlashBuilder program](https://the-sz.com/products/flash/) and i thought it could be useful to someone.
It can package a Flash game into an .EXE file, so you can continue playing your favorite offline game.
I didn't try it yet, busy with something else currently (looking for free iSCSI target download, all links dead, pfff)
Check the comments there as well.

Got an unclickable popup in Supernova asking about permission to use local storage?
Either try [my solution](https://www.kongregate.com/forums/7-technical-support/topics/1873379-supernova-player?page=8#posts-13578324), or this one by blackcatcurse:

Or this one by masick:

> I got rid of local storage popup. The arguments above e.g. "this game works for me, this game doesn't" make no sense, as that is a common 100k limit on all savegames categorized for "chat.kongregate.com", thus success or failure of running a game completely depends on how close the total of savegames on one's computer to the 100k limit. So first come first serve, if you've played a particular game before, it has a high chance of already having a savegame and won't complain, the new games never played before will most likely fail.
> The limit is stored in AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys\#chat.kongregate.com\settings.sol file, which can be opened and edited by this program for example: https://sourceforge.net/projects/soleditor/ . The name of the setting is "klimit". Much easier than looking for where to take native flash player control panel settings program from.
