With the iminent locking of Kongregate's last forum, it's just these remaining features left for users to enjoy. You have the power to make one or several features permanent for certain - but which one(s)?
And yeah, some of these are trivial, but I think we all know that nothing is off the table for sudden removal.
1. Profile shouts
2. Private messages
3. Playing web-based games
4. Uploading web-based games
5. Commenting on games
6. Rating games
7. Favoriting games
8. Points
9. Achievements
10. Kongpanions (reruns only though)
11. Blocks
12. Account creation
13. The website layout
14. A working website domain

At this point the one I want most is #10 until they finally reach the pair I missed crowns for back when they'd first killed Kong and left this zombie version shuffling around. That would require keeping 14 and 3, too.

Without a website (14) how can anything else work? Unless you mean the website gets converted into an app? (Kartridge/Steam?) If Kong just became ONLY JUST an app I'd be disappointed. But I guess it is not 100% essential.
So for me I'd go:
Essential:
Account creation (I want to be able to interact with other users and their favs), not be nameless)
Playing web-based games (I want to play games from many devs, not just MTG-KONGREGATE company games)
Uploading web-based games (I want to play games from many devs, not just MTG-KONGREGATE company games)
Commenting on games (there needs to be a way for gamers to talk to each other)
Hi-score system (in games that I like, I enjoy getting better at them and proving it)
Chat room (imo, the feature that separated Kong from the other flash sites)
Non-essential:
Rating games (I don't care about rating, too much. It kinda helps to find good games I guess, but favs migh be better?)
Profile shouts (meh)
Private messages (meh)
Favoriting games (good, pretty important, but not 100% essential)
The website layout (meh)
A working website domain (apps suck a bit because they force you to watch ads)
Traps:
Points (just a psychological trap. I still don't have max level)
Achievements/badges (just a psychological trap. Never was attracted to badge hunting. For me it went GoodGame -> GetBadgesUsually. Not GetBadges -> ForceSelfToPlayMehGame)
Kongpanions (just a psychological trap... that works on me. (I did force some games) But Shinies do not work on me)
Blocks (just a psychological trap. I mean, unless they actually bought something that matters)
Kongai cards (these also worked on me. I loved Kongai. But see, its more GoodGame -> GetDaThings)
There needs to be some form of game player chat, so its game comments that are essential.
GameForums > Comments > Chat (all should be here)
Rating games is not very important to me. But there has gotta be some form of... organizing. Tags might be enough.
And when we talk of psychological traps. The BEST trap for me... is the high score boards. I wish Kong concentrated on that more. (like putting your best scores on a profile section (best = high percentile))

Ideally, it's best kept as is and everything is chosen, but if we're only allowed a few picks, some are definitely more important picks.
I mean, number fourteen is definitely a pick if nothing else, since nothing else really matters if fourteen is gone. Thirteen might break, but it's still usable, and possibly repairable with a custom script, but the lack of fourteen can't be fixed or compensated with external help.
The next best pick would probably be option ten, Kongpanions actually. While Kongpanons themselves aren't important, them being rerunned means BotDs are still happening (unless they implement a new system which seems like a lot of extra work), and thus it would also mean achievements must still be kept. Likewise with Kongpanions ensuring the existence of BotDs, they'd need to do extra work to specifically remove blocks from the BotD which helps to protect feature eleven, the blocks. Ten itself isn't great, but it does work to basically bundle in itself, feature 9, and feature eleven.
Four is probably the worst pick since I believe the feature is already gone besides a few loopholes. If you mean picking four brings it back, then it would be more important than option ten though as it's can possibly resurrect this site, and bring traffic back in. Likewise, with Supernova not being too great, and the lack of any new fresh games, three isn't particularly great as there's nothing new.

How do you stay interested in what's merely a carrot on a stick? They've had over 7 years to turn them into something other than a compilation of badges but hardly even tried. When you get Kongpanions / badges for a game you didn't enjoy, do you truly feel like you earned something because it's cool or do you feel that way because that's how Kong wants you to feel?
