[Petition] Cancel Hard Badges of the Day!

I don’t suppose there’s any chance you could give some manner of reasoning for this, is there?

I don’t see the problem besides missing a few points.

No. Stop badges of the day that will take over 2 hours. Keep even badges of the day like the Santa Rockstar, Survival Lab, and Asteroids Revenge hards.

Hard badges are only on weekends, and no one is saying you have to get them.

I look forward nothing for botd unless they reward XX kreds rather than XX points.

Super Stacker 2? Run 2? Those two seem quite long for badges of the day. The rest I can agree with though.

I would prefer if they simlpy let us know one day in advance what the BOTD will be.

You still have to earn the badge on the actual day (so you will still need to check every day) but this way you can prepare in advance for what tomorrows badge will be.

This way if you are going to be busy one day no problem – earn the badge a day in advance, then all you need to do is login for a moment on the actual day but you don’t have to spend the time playing it on that day.

For long or hard badges this gives you an extra day to play it. (Hopefully you don’t get two long ones in a row.)

I’d like to start a petition against this petition. Hard badges are by far my favorite Badge of the Day.

I didn’t even bother getting yesterday’s New Star Soccer hard, because I lost my savefile recently and I wasn’t interested in playing the game for over two hours to get 60 points.

I agree to askon’s idea above, letting us know about long badges in advance.

The problems are availability and length for the majority of these impossibles. I myself think it’d be cool to have impossible of the week, but there’s far too few of them.

Petition against excessively long badges if you like, but not hard badges.

I don’t have anything against hard badges as BoTD’s but I’ll send my assassins on you, kongregate staff but I sure flip out if you pick a badge that requires sheer grinding instead of much skill or a badge which is overall long even when you perform well

Newstar soccer, which was yesterdays BoTD, is in a twilight zone. Yes, the better you kick, more you score but overall progress required to get a career rating of 8 is far away, particularly if you start from a scratch

Honestly, I would have missed yesterdays BoTD if I hadn’t made any progress forehand

And then there’s similar situation; Kingdoms rushes “Iron challenge” hard badge
Once again, the better you place your towers and cast your spells, the faster progress you make but completing all challenges is a huge process even if you have already acquired secondary hard badge

I didn’t snatch those 30 points on that day when kingdom rush had BoTD <.<

Teh solution is to collect badges even if they’re not badge of the day :P

cancel badges that could not feasibly be done over the course of a single day.

if it takes only a few hours, thats fine. if you dont have the time to earn it, too bad.

+1 against badges that you can’t complete in few hours.

+1 or make hard badge on good old games, like Sonny or GemCraft, etc.
