Isn't an 'announcement' sorta the opposite of a 'private message'

I’m fairly sure the two terms are mutually exclusive.

Eh, but it’s the best way to let users know about something, and it would be annoying if every user got one of those in their shouts.

Will blocking the Kongregate account prevent these messages? They’re ads, not the administrative messages I was hoping for.
