Well, i have K+, and i still get those big fish adds whenever i log in or switch a game… this is considered a add to me and it needs to be fixed…

I remember reading, in the K+ thread maybe, that those aren’t considered ads.

Some chat posts are sent out to all users, because we think it’s something all users may enjoy knowing about. Especially getting 75 Kreds and a game for only $2.99. Who doesn’t love free bonus Kreds?

It’s still anadvertisement.
I don’t have a problem with contests being shown in chat, like “Play X game and get to level 10 for a chance to win an Xbox!” or something. Those are fine, but something like the Big Fish Games thing is clearly an ad.

How about a K+ option, in the form of some sort of checkbox inside profile options, to opt out of receiving chat announcements which seek money from the users?

Alison informed me this has been fixed, and BigFish chat ads will no longer be visible to K+ members. :)

I wouldn’t mind getting the Big Fish Ad once, and then never seeing it again, until a reminder once it is about to end. This goes for both K+ and Non-K+ users.

I wouldn’t, and also i read a few months ago that you would dissable ALL adds.
a option would be nice though, i would still rather not see the big fish one. there annoying.

Alternatively, if you use Firefox, you can use the add-on BetterKong. It has a script which will block all of the challenge/ads announcements that appear in chat. Obviously it’s not a solution to the problem from the Kong side, but until they fix it (if they decide to at all) this is a good way to get around it.

1 they are annoying.
2. i payed to get rid of them, in theory they were lieing and i could sue them for it.
