The 99 Bricks impossible badge...

…is totally doable:

You have to pay attention to structure and balance. Just fitting the pieces together isn’t enough.

All the impossible badges are doable, it’s just a matter of whether or not it puts you into a puppy punching rage.

Although I do love this game, it’s like Tetris.. for physics nerds.

The game pauses once you use all 99 bricks. Note the “Press Any Key to Continue” message. I’m amazed it held up for all 99 (barely), I can see so many dodgy areas :P Anyone else who achieves this, be sure to post your towers here! I hope to see some more marginally standing towers to laugh at :D

Even if you really dislike the game, the card shouldn’t take more than a couple of tries. My goal was to make it easy enough to ensure that everyone could get it without making it trivial.

I find it even more amusing that the med badge was easier to set up than the easy one… still having to reach 600 or 99 blocks is going to be very tough.

My tower crashed and burned when i had 1 brick left to place. I cried. Apparently Rubix also had a tower crash and burn with 1 brick left to place. He cursed. I’ll get this tomorrow…. on video.

That looks so unstable… How did you do it?

All you need is a stable base of about 300 units tall. The 770 base was rather unstable resulting in the humourous form of the spire which I must admit have no idea how it survived. However, note in the 804 case I made probably my best base so far, the pieces are very intertwined and no “mini-towers” are present, and it is symmetrical. This base allows for a stable spire which more than doubles (almost triples!) the tower’s height. If I didn’t run out of pieces, I think I would have been able to add 50-100 units of height.

Well I tried. I failed. I’m lame.

I got 5 blocks left and then they start ## falling, i kept pressing down but its useless… this game phails
