Kongregate, I don't want to see these "notifications" in chat that you apparently "think I will find an interest in"

i havent seen this yet. probably because dotd only requires 5 seconds of play every few hours.

i imagine it would be annoying if i saw it, but it wouldnt be as annoying as the 30 raid links posted every second.

I’m seeing it outside the game with great frequency.

Even that stupid advertisement for cheap games I am apparently interested in shows up less.

Edit: OK, Kong. If you’re going to push this design, if you’re going to keep from us the ability to turn these off, and make the “close” link buggered out before games, and change all the terminology, at the very least, lower the fucking frequency of these “notifications” which we “might be interested in” which are in fact advertisements:

I wonder why it warns about raids posted in chats. I haven’t seen them at all

This notification seems unnecessary

Right-o; it seems as if this notification showing up for everyone was a mistake, and it’s only supposed to show up in the game chat for the game.

Needs to get fixed/annoying/etc.

The red notification is based on the game. Like on TDP4 (The Darkness Project 4: Team Battle) the notification says to never tell anyone your password. This is because the game has a high level of scammers who tries to gain access to your account.

Yeah. With this, however, the problem was that I’ve never played Dawn of the Dragons at all before.

I think one of the messages has an X button at the top right if you mouse over it to close it. (Or at least one did a few days ago when I got it)

id also like to point out, that I’m a level bloody 65, i have been here since 2008, i have played thousand and thousands of games on here, no I’m not bloody confused by links,

i know the Facebook push is to get new blood in, i know the change from friends to fans was to remove a little confusion from new players, and its things us oldies have to live with, its changing times, more users mean more money, but come on, really, these messages are treating me like its my first day here,

i know you are a business, i know its your job to make money and you do that though advertising, i don’t bitch at the TV or radio for doing exactly the same thing, but if my local radio station or TV channel changed everything about themselves to attract a new audience, at the expense of there old loyal listeners/viewers, there would be mobs outside the station the next morning demanding those in charge be turfed out,

Sorry about that, guys! Those notifications were only supposed to be sent to people playing Dawn of the Dragons, but we’ve fixed that now. :)

i AM playing that game, i still do not want to be seeing newbie tutorial level help for these sorts of things, you have my full support to help out the new players, just don’t forget we didn’t all join yesterday from facebook, some of us know how things work

A raid is where a group of players join a event which they all try to take down a creatures hp down to 0 (Must be done before X time is up), When this is done they all collect looted items. So the post would display that stats currently for the raid I would think.
