2000th Badge - Kongratulations Kongregate!

The 1000th badge was in Snail, now a distant memory. The 2000th Badge was at 11:35:06 GMT on 8th June 2012 and it was Skinner Box Recursion on Achievement Unlocked 3.

I noticed this same thing a couple of hours ago, and wondered who would be the one to make a thread about it. I just hope it’s an impossible badge. It’s been a while.

Who knows, the 2000th badge could be on a Nerdook game. There’s a high chance :p

I wonder which one is the 1000th?

I remember that the 1,000^th was hand picked to be that easy badge on Snail, so I’d expect something similar to happen with the 2,000^th. The Snail badge was added specifically to be that badge number, since the badges before and after it were on the same game.

My guess will be “The Ocean – 2000th BADGE WOOT!” In “The Ocean around me”

That’s a great idea actually. Make it a medium badge “Earn 2,000 badges”. It’d be the perfect paradox! There are only 2,000 badges, but you can’t earn the 2,000th badge because you have to earn the badge itself before you can get to 2,000 badges.

It starts out being literally impossible to earn, but as more and more badges become available, it retroactively becomes easier and easier.

I’m sure this suggestion has nothing to do with the fact that I’m only missing 14 badges, totally no bias from me at all.

achievement : get 75% of all badges

Not really nice considering the amount of badges that the value 75% represents rises over time. Five years ago, that would only mean 3 badges. Right now, it’s almost 1500 – so imagine how it will be in a few years.

75% of 2000 of all badges is 1500 badges

It took about 2 years from casual player like me to earn 1500 badges
