Basically the title, mates.
With this new and improved profile design, it’s incredibly inconvenient as is.

I think it’s supposed to be private for a reason, as they don’t want people adding them or seeing their activity feed.

Solution: Allow us to disable the activity feed without having to make our profiles private.
Mine had to be private’d for the first time ever today.

I want to add something to this, but this so perfectly expresses my opinions, there’s no reason to add anything other than this sentence saying that I don’t need to add anything.

You people are too frightened of stalkers.
… who was that? That guy behind my window?

I know it was intended to be a sarcastic post, but I just feel like there’s no reason why anyone else should be able to look at my down to the minute actions on Kongregate.
Just because I have nothing to hide doesn’t mean everyone else has a right to know.

If that was the intention, then the exploit by using Firebug should be fixed.

I agree with the activity feed part, as some people don’t feel that they currently have enough control over it (hopefully people will be able to restrict what’s posted on it soon enough), but I don’t agree with the part about being able to add them (if there was an option to just stop people from physically adding you, not just taking away a button, then there’d be a difference). Essentially, I’ve found that the easiest way to add someone who has a private profile is with this:

You can just enter their name there, and you’ve added them (it’s also just one click away no matter what page you’re on, so it’s still convenient).

Bumpity bump, private profiles are a little pointless don’t you think? It was fine before, at least we could tell who was online.
Oh noes! I don’t want people to know who I am :’(
