Nope, it appears as the regular profile URL. I’m assuming it’s something strange going on with what I have cached, since there doesn’t seem to be any other logical reason as to why it would be showing me the old profiles like this. I can get it to show the old design on this account when I use the .xhtml trick, but it just happens by itself when logged out or on another account.

And DRK, if I can find out what’s happening, I’ll be sure to tell how. What makes it kind of odd is that it shows the old design straight away, it doesn’t have to reload up the page again like the script does. I run another formatting script that annoyingly shows the forum hub one way and then a second later show it the altered way (so I know what kind of behaviour the script would have), yet this just shows it the old way instantly.

EDIT @below: I don’t dislike having it show the old one for me, since I rarely log out or into other accounts, I just happened to and noticed it.

If you dislike the old profile, try clearing your cache to test it out. Maybe keeping old data allows people to keep the old profile?

While there’s some parts about the old profile, I’ve got to say that I personally find the new profile to be an overall improvement.

You still can shout on the new private profiles.

You don’t need the .xhtml to send or see the shouts from a private profile, just press the private message button in the private profile and then in the shouts tab. :)

Now, since this little ‘bug’ is already revealed, we can just hope kongregate doesn’t so called “fix” it. We could possibly even have a spark of hope that kongregate makes it official as it is evidently pointed that old profile layout is still fully synchronized with kongregate itself. The only problem is that certain features aren’t displayed in both profiles, like game contributions, supported games and activity feed (maybe shoutbox counts too)

Excluding activity feed, I think all features should be seen in both profiles… just with different layout when you change between profile styles
