Wow BHA, it only took me two days or so to get that badge. However, it was how I spent every second.
Oh and also, now that I’m back at school surprisingly my connection is much better while connected to the ethernet cable

On another note.. Why the hell is the server located in Indiana?

Filled the recents with imps over the span of 3 days. Could have done it in 2, but I wanted to top it off with Max Mesiria 2.

v None of those are Max Mesiria 1/5

I got the medium badge around 1,5 weeks before it was announced that the game was going to be taken down.
On the 23rd, when I read the game would be taken down, I went all in to get the hard badge.
It hadn’t taken me that long to get the medium badge, and I think it was actually a disavantage that I had gotten it, because then I didn’t start with a week, where I couldn’t get attacked.
I set clocks to tell me when my workers was finished and could start something new, and I even set alarm clocks to wake me up in the middle of the nights when it mattered. I had a single night in the beginning, where I could only get around 2 hours sleep at a time.
I got the hard badge on the 17th without paying any money and without attacking other players.
Conclusion: It was possible to get the hard badge by starting after it was announced that the game is taken down, but either you had to be very dedicated, or I had a bad strategy.
I used my shiny for:
Started with 3 workers, and a week, where every upgrade/building was 20 % done when I started it.
Ended with finishing the Town Hall level 6 upgrade early, bought a day where I couldn’t get attacked when the Map Room had around 1,5 days left, and finished the Map Room upgrade early (right after the screenshot above).
My main focus was getting 6 level 8 Twig Snappers, 5 level 7 Pebble Shiners and 1 level 6 Pebble Shiner (after some calculations I found out that I shouldn’t upgrade any of these further). While I was getting enough resources for the Town Hall upgrade to level 6, I built up some defenses to not loose too many resources the many times I was attacked.
When I had enough resources I recycled everything except my Town Hall, my Map Room, my General Store and my 4 Resource Silos to get enough to upgrade the Town Hall to level 6. I had some remaining resources that I used for building up a little defense for my Town Hall. When the Town Hall was finished upgrading to level 6, I recycled my Resource Silos to get enough to upgrade my Map Room and build some more defenses for it (the defenses you can see on the screenshot).
This is the most dedicated I’ve been so far to get a badge. I’m very happy to have gotten the badge before it was shutting down.
It’s definately a bigger win than the 11 impossible badges I’ve gotten, and it’s the first time I’ve gotten so big a win, that I thought it deserved to be in this post.
=D

You either deserve a medal, or need some addiction therapy. Or both :p

I like doing things to the extreme. It takes a lot of dedication for a period, but then you can be happy about it for a long time afterwards :)

Wow, it seems like BYM badges were around for much less time than I thought. It’s only been like a year and a half since I played. :/

That’s actually not cheating, though. The developer intentionally added it into he code of the game. Secondly, even if it was a glitch, it’s not cheating. Cheating is manipulating the game using an outside tool (like cheat engine).

Not using almostpapa, while knowing about it, makes it more of a win in my books. It’s harder than it sounds to play 15 hours of pizzeria in basically two days. (The first two days I didn’t play much). I wouldn’t considering it cheating per sé, but I’d rather do it the insane way.

I have a top comment on BYM. It isn’t rated highly but it was rated fast enough to be put on the top. Funny thing is, I expected it to get downvoted into oblivion. All I did was laugh at the fact that the game was over and people were being babies about it. It is partly a fail, but I’m counting it as a win.

Now what is ACTUALLY a win is my top comment on Monsters’ Den!

^ Yeah I sound like a nub but… #yoloswaqq69
