I think the instructions may be a bit confusing. Hover over the “gear” on the profile and select “feed preferences”. Does it show up there?

I unchecked forum posts and badges but I still see them.
What’s going on?
Also we need a check box for people you have shouted.

That stops future postings. You still have to manually go back and delete the previous ones that are still there one by one.

So basically they’ve added yet another almost completely useless feature to the slowly rapidly getting crap layout of kong? Great.

Actually it wasn’t too bad to go back and delete all of the old stuff from the feed.

Oddly enough some of the things would come back, but eventually I managed to delete them all and keep them deleted

So yay, I get to make my profile public again.

Edit 2: I fucking spent an hour going through and cleaning out all the shit I didn’t want to finally put my profile public again and I look to see the same shit I just deleted back in the damn Activity Feed after I made my profile public!!! What gives? >.<

Edit 3: Hello again :-) So it turns out some stuff was different yet some was the same. Again it’s cleaned out. It better stay like that this time…

Edit 4: More badges showed up… I give up

They really need to fix it so that when you clean out your Feed once you don’t have to keep deleting more crap that popped back up.

I must say, after disabling my forum posts and other unnecessary stuff I (and others) see makes my feed much more clear. Although, the history still exists and I’m eagerly awaiting an option to entirely hide certain parts of your feed, not just to prevent future updates
