The recently played games now appear in your “games” tab instead. If you want to see a larger list check this link, which can be accessed from your profile page by looking for the “favorite games” section on the right, selecting the “recently played” tab and clicking “See all recently played”.
First, calm down. Second, it’s gone for everyone, from the front page at least. Third, saying they should do things because you use adblock is kinda illogical. Fourth, Since they didn’t replace it with ad space it as nothing to do with greed.
After having used it for a little now I’d have to say that, I personally, like the current location for the “Recently Played” games section more than the homepage because I can get my latest game played from any page now.
