walmartgreeter's badge and points log!/road to level 50!

Heya Kongregaters.

I’ve been on Kong since April of ‘08 and Ive never really posted anything or really talked much in the chat-rooms, something I’ve decided to change. One thing I have participated in, is getting badges. I currently have over 800 and want to get a lot more.

Recently i’ve made a goal for myself. To get to level 50! I’m only level 42, so I have a good ways to go yet, so I’m hoping to get it by…..lets say January 1st 2013. I figure that will also put me at around 1300 badges or so. If you have suggestions for an easy-ish hard badge, let me know! Those are always my favorite.

Anyways, I’ve decided that this thread is going to have 2 purposes:
1- to log my points and badges, and ask questions about games and such.
2- to get more connected with the Kong community. (chatting, posting, discussing etc. Feel free to add me!)

Try getting the Death Dice hard, it should provide you a few hours of entertainment.

If you want my advice, just make sure you get the Badge of the Day every day, and the weekly challenge, as well as rating each game you play.
Even doing that without earning any extra badges will get you to level fifty in no time.

@ tomatoman, that was tough. got 4350 pretty quick, then nothing for awhile. Got 12,300 somthing, and it isnt giving me my badge, im getting pretty frusterated……second badge thats done that tonight.

EDIT: some how did the death dice overdose hard badge again, 10,580. didnt give me the badge again, and has stopped updating my “best so far” .

in line with cowfriend’s suggestion… sorting by Most Awarded and filtering for Hard should provide a reasonable method to getting the most points the quickest.

You’ll have to use your knowledge of what the games are to determine how much work is required to earn the badges before jumping into a game. That said, if you’re level 42, trying to get to level 50, you need a level or 2 every month from here until the new year.

@wattro, ya thank you. Ive actually done that before. wouldn’t be a bad idea to revisit that method.

Has anyone here played Valtharian Arc? got that badge recently, really loved the game. Anyone know of other games like it with badges?

Fold, all three badges are rather easy.

Just learn the levels and know that R restarts the level without taking a life.

Run 2, Meat Boy, and Vector Runner also have rather easy imps.

Heh, I actually knew about this, but was too lazy to change it… It’s fixed now. :)

@happy alchoholic, thanks for the support :) and ya I try to get the badge of the day at least 5ish times a week.

@blizzard, wow, I am having a HARD time with fold lol. Also, I’m not particularilly after imps as most still take a long time I’m sure. I’m just after points in general.

Level 43 now! just leveled up from completing the “yo dawg” quest. :)
