I did get the badge, but at a certain point it just became a crap shoot as I was running around the outside and slashing through the middle three times, hoping I didn’t die.

Well it took a few tries, but it’s a fairly addicting game and I’m glad it received badges although I kind of felt the dashing range sometimes increased and decreased and I couldn’t predict where I was going.

Dojo of Death is a nice little game, but it feels really incomplete. The dev had so much potential to add more to it than just two enemies and possibly more game modes.

It’s a very polished game, but the random slicing range (or maybe there’s actually a mechanic for it I’m not aware of) can be really irritating. I have died way too many times to my ninja dashing two centimeters right next to an archer and get shot in the face.

dojo of death im not a fan of. I can see why it was badged though, very little testing for the admin since it’s a super short badge.

sentry knight is alright, though levels sure felt long for having only 5 waves. first try on endless with the upgrades i beat the main story with got me to almost 9 minutes. Prob just using the wrong spells, but the badge seems fine.

For Dojo of Death, JohnnyV123 in the comments pointed out there’s a maximum number of baddies on screen (and I think it’s dependent on time rather than score or number of kills?), so just go around killing archers as they appear, and taking out one (or two if you’re daring) of the sword guys at a time when there are no archers so as to avoid being swarmed.

Need more hard badges like dojo of death, less hard badges like that kingdom rush 2. What a relief to play a game with no pain-in-the-arse upgrades. The only thing I would have changed about the Dojo badges is have the hard badge to be for a 100k or 150k score, and then add a medium for 100 kills. It does help, when going for a hard badge, to be able to see how close you are, and there’s no on screen kill counter. I breathed a sigh of relief when I got to 100k, thinking that I must have got 150 kills, and ran straight into an arrow with only 144 kills. Also, riskier play (none of this chickenshit running around the outside) earns a better score, making the hard badge more fun (you know, fun? You remember, it’s what we used to play games for before Greg invented badges).

S&P2 got an easy and a medium today.

The medium seems a bit long, even for and MMO, considering that this game has way more gameplay than most mmos. From a shop that I had at level 12 from playing for about 3 or so hours when the game was in beta, it’s taken like 2 more hours to get the medium badge.

Any chance there’s gonna be more badges added though? It wouldn’t surprise me, but it’d be nice to have a heads up.

The game is just as horribly laggy as it was 5 months ago. I quit playing that game because the lag was unbearable.

Was unfortunate, because I did like the game.

Yep, I also spent 5h to get the medium badge. It’s still one of the best badged MMOs I’ve played (meaning that I didn’t hate every single minute of it) – nothing like the disaster that is mafia wars…

If S&P2 is going to get more badges, it won’t get them for about 6 months, given how the trend of adding additional badges to a PBBG has worked in the past. Of course the additional badges were also for the most heinous of games and their strong armed developers, which the developer of S&P2 isn’t.

I quite liked this Spatial Brain-Bending Badge. Quite fun, though not exactly a challenge, finished the whole thing in about 5-10 minutes, easy points. Still fun though.

I have problems with Valthirian arc hard badge – game doesn’t load story arc hunting quests for me at all.
And this isn’t only mine problem, see comments for “infinite loading screen bug”.

So I finished BloodRealm after playing it for like 5 hours today. Very dull and kinda long for a medium but at least you don’t need to wait around for energy recharges dozens of times. I’m just glad there’s no tedious hard badges.

Yeah, took about 5 hours for me too, although never ran out of energy as such. Seemed very long for a single medium badge; a second one for upgrading a card to level 10 or something similar to that would have made a lot of sense.

I’d agree with that; other than maybe making it level 15 or max (20) for the card. It was lengthy for a plain medium, that’s for sure.

I gave up on Bloodrealm after getting the easy badge. When everything but the most basic pack of cards can only be bought with premium currency you can’t get out of there fast enough. They’re not even trying to hide their money grabbing ways.

This sort of game keeps getting badged and that makes me sad.

In general, badge length has a different standard for MMOs, and medium badges in MMOs are intended to be a bit longer than other medium badges on the site. I do agree, though, that it was still too long. My target for future medium badges in MMOs will be a bit shorter.

I like Obey The Game. I didn’t have any progress, and at first I thought it’d be really tedious and grindy. It was actually pretty reasonably enjoyable, even if the reflex expectations grew to be too unreasonable. I think I had to redo one section once, which was a pleasant surprise. On first glance I would have said otherwise, but I think it turned out to be a really easy Medium.

There’s been some rumblings about whether there should have been an Easy badge or not. I didn’t check the high scores, so I don’t know if it only tracks completion or if it tracks scores too. If it tracks scores, I think an Easy is/would have been nice for +50. I easily got ~70 on the first section and I think that would be a decent place for an Easy badge. It’s the first section, so it shouldn’t be that bad.
