Just for reference, everything after topics/NUMBER is optional — it’s there to make the link more understandable for humans, but the link will work just fine without it, like so: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-kongregate/topics/319860

So is the text aftr the forum id. Your link can be shortened to http://www.kongregate.com/forums/1/topics/319860
Also, the only thing that matters is the thread id; you can throw anything in the forum part and it will still work. ie, http://www.kongregate.com/forums/nonsense/topics/319860

Yay, I was included in this. The only complaint I have with it is it doesn’t include chat.

Dude, it’s something users have been asking for a long time now.

I think it’s pretty awesome that we get updates like this purely for fun, just because people want them. If you don’t like it, it’s as simple as ignoring the feature.

Super pleased with the result. It makes my gaming experience less likely to be intruded upon by chat or other things going on in the background, not to mention that this is genuinely helpful and has been requested. It’s nice to know our suggestions are being acknowledged and considered.

Still nothing to write home about.

Cinematic mode is very nice when I do not wish to chat. It makes the game a lot easier to look at.

A good update.

I didnt even know of this until now…

for me playing DOTD, it make the game considerably faster :) nice touch

When a feature is requested numerous times by a large amount of users, it makes perfect sense to announce it when the feature is made available. It may be nothing you requested, but you are only one (very contrary) person on a site with enough users to populate a city (technically, even a country – there are many with lower populations than Kongregate).

Ooh, me loves the Cinematic mode.

I have Cinematic Mode but not the Cinematic Bug link for some reason.
Anyway it sometimes acts buggy on huge games like Chronicles of Blood – the background was scrolling while the game was in CM but no way to scroll to the bottom of the game. Finally after a browser refresh it started scrolling the game also in CM.

This would be perfect if there wasn’t an advertisement right above the screen.

I mean if you’re going to copy Newgrounds you might as well do it better than them right? But you managed to do it worse!
Once again the Kongregate team fails to impress.

Anyone can tell me when will the Cinematic Mode will be introduced for everyone on Kongregate?

There is something that I just noticed the other day while using cinematic mode. The window doesn’t stay in the center of the page. If I scroll down, the game should scroll down with me. This is important for games that involve using the scroll button on the mouse to use. I thought that if I used cinematic mode, the game would scroll with me when I used the scroll button.

And stupidly, my laptop doesn’t HAVE a scroll lock button. Maybe it’s not a big deal for others, I just am kind of surprised that the game doesn’t scroll with us.

It scrolls for me.
