I don’t think it was. It is badge of the day and I think they just f’d up! :)
It must have been, because it you can complete the badge with only one requirement checked off, which is a pretty new feature IIRC.
I think maybe the badges were re-added?
Or it’s just a bug, as it happens sometimes.

Yeah, that definitely wasn’t there before. I think they did it to fix the badge more than anything else.
It’s because it used to say beat the game on normal – this can be done on any difficulty. Went unnoticed until now, so they fixed it.
So in conclusion… THEY LIED! ha ha no new badges and no new challenge. :P
