I`ve just got the ticket!

I guess if we think positive, a contest with a horrible game means less people getting the ticket. Likewise, that means a higher chance for us to win.

I’d love to see them but I refuse to give this game a single play. Maybe I’ll go and start a character just to rate it 1/5 and see the comments.

People who are vocal about this sort of thing aren’t doing it because we hate Kongregate, we are doing it because we LOVE Kongregate.

(Note: rant was cut down by 2 paragraphs)

Okz. For my experience on here. YES. It is a pretty basic game BUT if U just want to win the Trailblazer quest just click HUNT, Weapon Attack, Weapon Attack, Weapon Attack, Servant Attack, Weapon Attack, Speed Attack. Monsters are randomly so you just have to keep clicking HUNT. Good luck and safe journies all.

That’s what I thought. Though at the same time, I’m wondering if this is just some ploy to make Dead Space 3 not seem like such a festering piece of crap to whoever is lucky enough to win it.

The only good news is that Kongregate should be getting the message. The “game” has an average score of 3.38. Which is, by Kongregate standards, absolutely abysmal.

NOTE: I DID die MOST of the time starting off before I figured out the combo that seemed to work a LOT. Roughly 2 Hours clicking BUT you have to wait for your Bloodlust to generate You get 3 Bloodlust every 2 mins 30 seconds. Just click away until you burn up your 300 Bloodlust. Log on 3 hours later, rinse and repeat. Good luck and safe journies all.

It’s pretty much just a facebook game put onto Kongregrate. Upside to that means it’s super easy to get the ticket because it takes no skill or brain cells to participate.

LOL at caesary

Btw, did anyone ever won those prizes? Or do they announce winners somewhere, i would love to see profiles of people who won them in previous contests like this.

Also LOL at this
“In compliance with Canadian law, Canadian winners will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill question as a condition of being named a valid winner.”
Solve integral of exp(-a*r^2+a*r*x*cos(theta))*r)) xD

Here you go!
Integral of e^(-(a r^2)+ a r x cos(theta)) r dx = (sec(theta) e^(-a r (r-x cos(theta))))/a + constant

That’s because, if my memory is correct, it’s illegal to give away money on games of luck in Canada, or something along those lines, so in order to circumvent it, any “luck” based thing (contests, even the lottery) has a mathematical question associated with it if you win, though generally they’re very, very basic, since it’s just a way to get around the law, not a way to screw over a bunch of people.

From reading the rules:

I.)
You can also enter by hand printing your first and last name, street address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, e-mail address and phone number on a 3″ × 5″ card and mailing in a hand-addressed envelope to: Chronicles of Blood Sweepstakes, Kongregate, 2 Shaw Alley, 4th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105.

II.)
The Chronicles of Blood Sweepstakes is void in Quebec, Australia, Puerto Rico, Mexico and anywhere it is prohibited or restricted by law

III.)
In compliance with Canadian law, Canadian winners will be required to correctly answer a mathematical skill question as a condition of being named a valid winner.

Canadians better be smart if they want to gamble :)

Don’t they have gambling in Canada?

Yeah, we have gambling in Canada, but pretty much everything besides Casino winnings requires skill-based questions.

Even the McDonald’s monopoly events have them if you win, or if you win x amount of money from a scratch ticket.

So if you’re an unfortunate person with an intellectual handicap, you are rendered virtually ineligible for these winnings? Ouch.

I know, that’s why I didn’t just say, “bad at math.”

Although here in TX, I have met high school students who couldn’t figure out 2 and 3 digit integer addition.

But then I read the comments on the game, and I said to myself:
“Do I REALLY need to kill some flaming pony things?” :P
