Just finished. I keep my first opinion: this game needs a badge. But I feel like adding an easy one, I need around ten minutes to finish the game. Anyway, another great game from ExperaStudios.

No wonder you aren’t adding badges. These recent two sets are a crapfest. Forge of Gods crashes every 5 mins, and I know I can switch to firefox or something else but even then the game is laggy and bad. One of my friends had his game crash and the game thought he was still in tutorial even though he finished it, so the progress is stuck. A partially broken badge from the get-go; geez.
Zombie and Juliet is pretty rubbish too to be honest. Grindy, laggy mess with absolutely horrible controls. It’s as if they purposefully made the controls horrendous so that you were forced to grind so that you can just tank damage and spam skills/your new weapon that you spent 10000 years grinding souls for.

But clearly he’s not badging enough games, so he went ahead and did it.
I think he’s trying to get a point across that there isn’t any good games to be badged, but I have no idea what I’m talking about.

I got forge of gods medium very easily. Actually it took about an hour. Zombie and Juliet was longer with 1,5 hour. Spend skill points on faster soul farm and exp gain early and I bought the sword with highest damage as soon as I could. Skip some upgrades and keep grinding those undead giants for lots of xp and souls.

I don’t how difficult the medium badge for Forge of Gods is, since the game won’t let me log in while signed into my main account. I had played the game enough to get the easy badge a while back, and now it won’t let me log in while signed into my Kong account. (I can easily log in while not in my Kong account, but it takes me to the very beginning of the tutorial.)

honestly i never got a trouble for zombie and juliet except that it gets laggy if you play it for too long. there are other badged games which require you to grind, and it’s normal.
i only got a ‘login’ (took me a few tries to enter the game) and ‘memory usage’ (have to refresh every few min or so) problem for forge of gods, but the medium badge isn’t too hard to get, considering it’s a mmo badge.
anyways, how about [Star Runner : Genesis](http://www.kongregate.com/games/FremenCorp/star-runner-genesis) for the next badge? i just played it for a few min and it looks like caravaneer (and maybe frontier), except that it’s spaceship. it has 3.9 rating btw.

I have a terribly old computer but I’ve never understood people complaining here about laggy games, for example the Strikeforce Kitty games (which are awesome) have been smooth enough for me always. But this Zombie and Juliet is virtually unplayable for me. But then again, as I sad I have a terrible computer so it might be just that. Still I never really had any lag issues before except for the duck vs hydra game (can’t remember the name of it now) but it was so good that I managed it.
EDIT: The name of that duck vs hydra game was Super Duck Punch.

I agree with aquatorrent; Star Runner : Genesis is a really fun game and seems to fit the criteria.

Well, and Card Hunter, which is in fact a good game, and it’s NOT pay to win, got challenges but no badges. I support badging it. The challenges were fun to play.

I think maybe CARAVANEER should be taken of the queue, it has been on there for nearly a year. Yes, I kid you not, it has been sitting there on a list for about a year. Considering that it doesn’t look like it’s about to get one “soon”, it would be fairer toward everyone, if it just got taken of the list and put on the actual backburner where it really has been residing all along.
And if it happens to get one eventually, great, if not, at least Greg doesn’t have to feel underproductive for not delivering long promised goods and users don’t have to keep staring in vain expectation at something that may never materialise. Having something on a list of things to come in the near future for so long isn’t doing anyone any favours, not to the badgemaker, not to the gamemaker, not to the player.
And believe me, I know how it feels to get started on that game, you start, think this is nice and a while later get bored brainless and give up, only to come back a month later and do the same thing again after having lost track of what it was you were doing before.
So if it’s an “it may get one some day when we get around to it eventually”, just take it off and surprise us when the time comes rather than have everyone wait in idle anticipation.

I’d rather see some not so perfect badges on Caravaneer than no badges at all. Take a look on what quality the average game on Kong has these days. Caravaneer plays in a completely different league. It would be a shame not to badge it just because it is hard/ complex.
So as an alternative solution to taking it off the list how about:
1) Just give it an easy badge or
2) Give it badges based on the feedback on some “pros”. You can still lower the requirements if the feedback gets too negative, right?
However, I agree that the current approach doesn’t seem to produce useful results and just keeping it in the list is more of a burden than anything constructive.
