So here’s another little review.
A lot of users have compared this to Frantic Frigates. I have no problem with people making clones provided they make them as tributes.
So the game’s got some real promise and, if it would look like it hadn’t already been done before, and done better, then it would have better praise. The game barely functions in terms of gameplay with lock on at deflection almost impossible.
It looks basic too, although you’d need to be critical to realise it. There is lack of shine and polish which although makes it seem militarist, also looks dull. The enemies are moderately drawn but leave me going ‘meh’.
I don’t like the ridiculous use of mines in the later levels. They have an enormous amount of health and I spent 2 mins going round destroying them just to summon the boss. The first boss is also overpowered and by the time you have the speed to avoid the first boss you can handle the 2nd and 3rd bosses.
No I don’t like the final product here. I love the idea but the execution is just wrong all over the place. The one thing I DO LIKE about this and I think is better than frantic frigates is that you don’t restart from a bare ass every time. It deserves a little credit for its functionality, but it’s largely forgettable compare to Frantic Frigates.
So overall I will give this game a 4 / 10.
Let me know if you agree or disagree.

Yeah I disagree…the way you start from a “bare ass” every time in Frantic Frigates? I actually like that.

Well, it’s sort of unique in a way, but then it has an arcady feeling that is too easy for pros and too hard for noobs. If you’re really not good at the game it’s very difficult to finish frantic frigates.
