New update, it automatically lists them.

If people are curious, a very quick look suggests the two most earned badges are

Dolphin Olympics (easy): 355,529
Sonny (easy): 348,437

Nothing else that I looked was above 300,000 (in fact the Sonny medium might be the third most earned badge on the site.) I didn’t look very hard.

(Before you ask, You have to burn the rope has half the number of earners. Most earned badge is as much due to popularity and number of game plays as easiness.)

Thanks for the stats. They are very revealing. I only have two of the easier impossibles (Monster’s Den and Pandemic 2). I don’t usually have the time (or the skills anymore :p) to get impossibles. But it’s always fun to try and achieve them. If I didn’t hate meat boy physics so much, I might finish it up and get the badge.

Hard badges.

Imagine how many plays YHTBTR?

Wow, I actually have most of the really rare ones, but alot of the common ones I actually don’t have. Gravitee, 99 Bricks, Mechanical Commando, Pyro, Dolphin Olympics 2, don’t have those. But of the top 5 hardest, I feel glad I have 3 of them. If I tried, I bet I could get Frantic, too! Very nice stats, looks like I’ll be updating my sidebar…

It’s interesting that A Simple Favor has more people with the hard badge than the second medium one. I’m guessing this has to do with the availability of guides more than anything — the hard badge is definitely more difficult if you’re trying to figure it all out yourself, in my opinion. Or maybe the fact that the first medium and hard can be earned in a single play, while the second medium requires a second play…

And this is definitely awesome, although it makes the only impossible I have (Pandemic 2) not seem as special now :(

i noticed that, after seeing the hard badge list…. about tarnation imp vs tarnation hard.

my guess? both badges are QUITE hard to do… but more people are willing to hack an imp than a hard. that’s my guess. because the hard was about 20x easier for me than the imp, once i had my strategy down. there is room for error in the hard, in terms of timing within fractions of a second. there is basically no room for error at all in the imp. not 1 tiny mistake or bad luck in a single level, or you won’t get the badge.

I feel special, I got the Dinowaurs hard badge!

My rarest is one of the Bible Fight hards (made more special to me because I got it first try without knowing it existed – the perfect Satan one). All my imps are in the common half of the table, though.

More people have the Tarnation Impossible than the hard Tarnation.

One of the proud 1.7k some with the frantic impossible.

I knew the badge existed, but I got the perfect Satan one first try as well. The only reason I don’t have the other hard on that game is because it was so boring that I couldn’t be bothered to beat it with EVERY character.

That makes sense. I played Tarnation once when I was new here and had trouble getting the easy badge…thus I knew it might not be a game to tackle until I had played more on the site…maybe I’ll give it a go again, but I doubt I’ll get the hard or the impossible if they’re that tough…I tend to do poorly on things that need exact timing.

I knew it had something to do with the bomb from the description, and something to do with the guard bot from the picture, but I spent 20 futile minutes trying to blow up the bot somehow before giving up.

Also not true for me, and not even close. I used Rubix’ write-up as guidance, although I had to modify it quite a bit due to computer differences. The impossible took me about 5 attempts. The hard took me about 5 days.

The top of the impossible badge list seems to have most of the ones that can’t be obtained immediately with a single hacked value. Goals of obtaining a certain score or having a certain number of lives left are pretty easy to hack, judging by the number of obvious hacks in the high scores lists. A game like Max Mesiria or Frantic isn’t quite as straight forward, if its even possible.

Dolphin Olympics seems to fall into this category as well, so I’m surprised to see it down on the bottom. That was one of the harder ones for me.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if the points prized for badges weren’t pre-set but instead were determined by the proportion of people that have played the game to the people who have acquired the badge? :]

Well considering that badge is about a year old and not realy that hard just luck based after you get the hang of it yea I’m not suprised.

Dolphin Olympics was also on the front page for a long game (in top rated games), which means it got more playthroughs then you might expect compared to a slightly lower rated game released at that time. As I mentioned above, it looks like the Dolphin Olympics easy is the most earned badge, even though there are probably easier easy badges to get if you know what games to look at.

I find it quite surprising that fold was mid-lower rarity. I found that one to be the easiest out of all of them. really just trial and error.

I find it funny how less people have the hards on bible fight than most impossibles lol.

My gosh, what an amazing list!

For some reason, I expected Streamline to be in the top 3 most achieved impossible badges, but I suppose it isn’t as easy as I think it is. I love how Max Mesiria is the very least, RPG + extreme difficulty = less achieved. Definitely not surprising that Tarnation is so low, though I figured more people would have the impossible for Frantic, MAD, and Super Stacker 2.

I also loved seeing how one of the Z-Rox badges was one of the most achieved, and the other is far down the list. Really goes to show how many people enjoy using those walkthroughs! ;)
