I’ll just leave this here, from a related thread. Pardon my unfamiliarity with forum formatting. (looks at >2500 posts) Nope. Nope there isn’t a point where you just learn these things.
“There’s a lot more they could be doing with the quests. There are 1871 badges on the website at the time of this post, and only 82 of them are a part of permanent quests. I’m still waiting on an impossible quest, which would be a welcome thing for a lot of us.
This is what makes sense to me: There’s a beginner quest, right? So it would follow suit that there should be an intermediate, advanced, elite, etc. quest, right? Well how about upon completion of the beginner quest, you’d unlock the next quest, whose medal would be worth more points each time. There can be more than one of these chains, and they don’t even have to be based on difficulty or an increasing points amount upon completion. There could be a quest through the genres, starting with physics since we already have it, and go through each one, at the same general difficulty, and the same points for completion.
These would all of course be tied to your account- the website would recognize what medal your account has, and unlock the one after that while keeping available for you to view all the ones that came before it.
Quests could be sosoSO much more dynamic than they are today. I understand with 1871 badges, sorting through them to pick which ones belong in a quest could be difficult, but there’s an entire thread filled to the brim with quest suggestions somewhere. All that’s left is the programming and the medal design and bam. You’ve created a quest." – myself, because I couldn’t get bq. to work and don’t know the html tags for it

^100% agreed with this post. Quests are a really motivating and easy way to get people on the site for longer. Why not keep the quests that you put out for promotional offers on the site as permanent quests, and just remove the advertisements or something? Plenty of themed quests are in this thread, and at this point in Kongregate’s history there should be more than just 10 quests.

I got another one: Lag Heaven
Then put lots of computer/resource-intensive games on the list lol.
I know Fancy Pants Adventure series lags my PC (8 years old)

Here’s a quest idea that I just thought of: Now that Kong has reached 2,000 badges, how about a 10-badge quest featuring every 200th badge?
(Note that I make this suggestion without knowing exactly which badges this would include—it might not be feasible if there are too many hard/impossible badges.)

Looks like every 200th would mean the easy badges from Tarnation and Snail, medium badges from Loops of Zen, Civiballs, Great Dungeon in the Sky, W-Zone, Ultimate Santa Battle, and Achievement Unlocked 3, and hard badges from Agony: The Portal and Formula Racer. Just by looking at that list, it actually doesn’t look too overly difficult, except for that Agony badge.

It’d be an OK quest if it weren’t for that AU3 badge…

Formula Racer isn’t bad. It took me… probably two hours, including all the grindage. Agony on the other hand…

I’d like to cancel out your support of this quest.
I’d also like to say the every 200th badge quest looks like a fantastic idea. End the embargo on hard badges!

So this idea came to me as I was going through badge master and saw a massive amount of badge images with stars on them. I figured why not make a quest out of them?
So easy badges with star images: Mechanical Commando 2, Wish Upon A Star, City Siege 3: Jungle Siege, New Star Soccer
And Mediums: Gravitee 2, Epic Battle Fantasy 3, Gunbot, Help! It’s the Unfinished Shadow Game, Gravitee Wars, Icy Gift, Stunt Crazy, Frantic Frigates, W-Zone, Prizma Puzzle Challenges, Mushroom Madness 3, Moby Dick 2, Adventure Story, Next Please!, Ninja Painter 2, Card Monsters, Wrestle Jump, Notebook Wars 3: Unleashed, Icy Gifts 2
Hard badges: Maze Stopper 2, Z Rox, Splitter, Mechanical Commando 2, Steambirds, Mushroom Madness 2, Cursed Treasure: Don’t Touch My Gems, Protector IV, Solipskier, Hello! Worlds, IntoSpace!, Desert Moon, DJManiax, Flight, Reactance, Cactus McCoy, Splitter Pals, Cursed Treasure: Level Pack, Top Defense, The End, Refraction, Vector Stunt, Cactus McCoy 2, BasketBalls, WarLight, SCGMD4, Stealth Hunter 2, Fancy Pants Adventure World 3, Hanna In A Choppa 2, Blocks, Takeover, Berzerk Ball 2
And finally, Imps: Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 2, Colourpod 2: Dimension Pod
Yeah, there’s quite a few of them!

Yeah I noticed that when looking at the least earned a while ago and saw Vector Stunt and The End next to each other. Could be interesting.
