Welcome to the Overachievers tournament, part of Kongregate's [10th anniversary celebration](http://www.kongregate.com/pages/10th-anniversary)! I am [Lebossle](http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/Lebossle) and my co-host is [back900](http://www.kongregate.com/accounts/back900). Please, feel free to send a PM to us about anything related to the tournament at any time.
As was traditional on the Kongregate forums, throughout these few weeks you are competing to see who is the best Kongregate gamer.
This time around, you are playing the games with the hardest badges on Kongregate. It’s the perfect opportunity to get those badges, show off by getting scores much beyond the badge requirements, and have a good time playing games with other Kongregators!
## Prizes
(Courtesy of Kongregate / IAmTheCandyman. Much appreciated, thanks a lot!)
* 500 Kreds + Kongregate T-shirt for the winner
* 100 Kreds for each finalist
* 100 Kreds for a random Raffle winner
* More if anyone is willing to sponsor this tournament too
## Rules
* Don’t cheat. Cheating will make us ask you for video proof of your scores, and then extreme punishments will be enforced. We consider cheating to include:
* Screenshot editing
* Pause abusing
* Right-clicking
* Manipulating save files
* Intentionally abusing lag
* Using any tools to modify your gameplay experience (other than the Flash Player itself)
* If you found a glitch, or your strategy just doesn’t seem trivial, please PM it to us. We may publish this strategy to improve the fairness of the competition.
* If you are having problems with a game, try using other browsers. If the problem persists, please contact us.
* Do not be publicly negative about other competitors in this thread. Send us those comments by PM instead. This includes cheating suspicions.

## Current Round:
### Semifinals
The games for this round are [Multitask 2](http://www.kongregate.com/games/IcyLime/multitask-2), where you will be competing for best combined score, [Hexiom](http://www.kongregate.com/games/Moonkey/hexiom), where you will be going for the best time random size 6, and [DjManiax](http://www.kongregate.com/games/TaroNuke/djmaniax), where you want to perfect the hardest 3 songs!
There is also an **Over-achievement** in DjManiax/SCGMD4: perfect all songs in SCGMD4 in pro mode.
Note: you can still get past over-achievements to get the halving bonus, but you won't get re-ranked to 1st on the corresponding round
Please post a video of all relevant gameplay and API, with the green plug, and preferrably chat too. You can post them later and use just equivalent appropriate screenshots for ranking purposes, but we'll require the video before one week after the round end. Also, don't forget to report exploits and non-trivial strategies.
The score for DjManiax is the sum of your percentages in Seven Circles, Eight Circles, and Dash Hopes in the "crazy" difficulty. The tiebreaker for it is [SCGMD4](http://www.kongregate.com/games/sigames/scgmd4): best score in bonus song 3 pro mode, if still a tie, best score in bonus 2, and so on through all songs.
This round will end and the next one will start at [2 PM of Jan. 18th (Pacific Time)](https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/to?iso=20170118T14&p0=224&msg=Overachievers+Semifinals+End&font=sanserif&csz=1)
The 38% best ranks will get through. That is, only the best 5 players will go to the finals. We will be considering your average rank, with a weight of 3 to the current round.
### Notes:
In DjManiax, Dash Hopes has pretty insane windows, I'll try to get a way of showing them. You can hold backspace to survive even if you should fail.
In Scgmd4, the hardest achievement to unlock bonus 3 is The Wizard, which you can get in I Just Wanna Burn, and it's easier to get it against the delivery guy.

## Raffle
As you may have noticed, we have a 100 Kreds prize for a random raffle winner. To get tickets for this raffle, you just have to earn selected badges. Each badge is worth one raffle entry (ticket). Just post saying that you have the badges, no need for screenshots, we will manually check that you actually have the badges (this is to reduce visual pollution in the thread).
For Round 9, the raffle badges are:

I'm not sure if it's the case (hopefully you can shed some light on this), but it looks to me that the timing windows for DJM are based on the actual position of the white line around the note as opposed to a timing window, making the windows much tighter when the song is moving quickly (line in DH3). Is that true?

All raffle badges (round 9) - Edit: **except 6 and 10**.

Yes. It also makes for weird windows there, since they're like 1-3 frames long at some points and so get a bit skewed from the actual note center (and tempo). Worst part is they're really just collision tests, so it's harder to decompile than if the timings were in say text/numeric format.

I see problems with multitask 2
Firstly, switch API refuses to report for me
Also, it's easy to cheat by getting a second person and each of you do 3 of the 6 tasks, making it a lot easier. It's impossible to detect and it's kinda highlighted by the comment with 2.2k upvotes "Love how one of the tags is 'multiplayer' :p"
And placeholder hexiom score

@Burnt, someone could just cheat in whatever other way too
even though I'm not participating, lag seems an unintentional advantage in MT2 and Hexuom

Well, I wouldn't suggest a game like Multitask 2. Even if someone do an impressive score the right way, people can imagine things. Also, a video prove will not get this cheat. But you guys can decide it, I'm out anyway.
I was really impressed by AU skills making it to wave 48 of Mechanical Commando (although the double towers wave wasn't really mastered yet). I guess it will be interesting watching how low the scores on Hexiom will be. 2 minutes anyone? :D
