Seriously, they’re currently in the process of play testing and putting finishing touches on the next expansion of Kongai cards and once that done with there will be more challenges. And any attempt to search for this information will bring up three threads about his topic.

Hey everyone,
For about the 10th time now, we finally have a release period planned for the new Kongai cards — late March/early April (for real this time).
The new cards will double the total number of cards in the game, with 4 new sets being added: pirates, knights, witches and robots. The new characters bring new gameplay effects that really spice the game up. It feels more like an expansion pack than a minor content update.
However, we’ve done some reflecting on how incredibly expensive Kongai has been to produce. For a few years now we’ve had nearly a dozen programmers, artists, designers, testers, etc. working on the game off and on.
Kongai was designed to promote other games on the site through card challenges, and in that sense it has been a success. It was never designed to be profitable through card sales, and perhaps in that sense it has been an even greater success! Nonetheless, though, in light of the incredible amount of time and resources that have been dedicated to the game since its inception nearly 4 years ago, we’ve reached the difficult decision to modify the price structure of existing and future cards.
We’ve not changed the plan for the actual card challenges or in-game earning methods, however. We’ll resume card challenges when the new sets are released, and you’ll be able to earn all the new cards by winning matches in-game, like you can now. So for the majority of people reading this, you won’t be affected at all.
The current plan is for individual cards to cost 20 kreds each when the new cards are released. However, the discount for purchasing the remaining characters of an entire set will increase from 10% to 25% if at least 3 cards are purchased. These changes will go into effect for all Kongai cards (new and old) when the new sets launch in a couple of weeks. So if you were planning to buy a few Kongai cards to complete your deck, now is the time to do it!
