have you played the game? the item cards all give permanent abilities, they arent used like potions or scrolls in other games being one use only Edit sorry if that came out harsh, it wasn’t meant to be. |

He hasn’t played the game, he’s only level 5. Also, those are just death mask and sacred candle with inverted colors. |

Play first before add suggestions (if you’re an beta tester), the cards are combined with a character, you can’t use them in a battle. The life mask means that the user EVERY turn heals 50% with 50% change on full healt. The cold candle means that the enemy is ALWAYS stunned. |

Simple: Never gonna give you up: If this character dies next turn your opponent dies too. (both) Never gonna let you down: Does X amount of damage. If you’re opponent is at close range, change it to far. (close) Never gonna run around: Evades the next attack and changes range to far. (close) And desert you: Can switch out next turn without fear of intercept. |

nice blazian_pyron. like the idea. vlandandril, those are both invert color death mask and spirt candle in invert colors respectively, and the name is just opposite. life mask IS FAR TOO CHEAP, cold candle would be good if it stunned the opponent 2 turns for 25% or 45% chance for 1 turn stun when you put the character in play, or at the start of the battle if s/he is your starting character. Probably going to be a “black” or “necromancy” type card. Again, life mask is pathetically cheap, cold candle might work if you change the name, artwork, and effect slightly. This is my OPINION. |

I thought of one to add…infection. When character is hit and retreats, will infect other character not in play with bleeding 3…think about it… |

I have some cards in mind to share: Scales of justice- When equipped character is struck by an attack, there’s a 25% chance the attacker will get a debuff that won’t let them switch out, get close or get far for one turn. Medallion of the wild-(Usable only for the tribal people)- All party members of the weilder has +4 damage/attack, +5 health and +1 attack speed. Shackles of striking- In a succesful hit, the weilder has 30% chance to reduce all costs by 10 and attack speed by one for the next turn. Cloak of rage- Grants +5 damage to the weilder. The opponent gets +5 attack too but recieves a debuff taking 3 damage a turn and won’t be able to switch out each time it deals a succesful attack. Scroll of inner fire- (for the ninja people) Weilder deals 3 extra damage per strike and the opponent has a high chance to take fire damage per turn for 6 turns. If the targeted opponent switches out, his/her party will get a debuff that deals 2 fire damage per turn for 3 turns. hehe maybe a character named after me? if kongregate takes these ideas of mine that’d be kool and i dont mind changing the names the pics are up to u guys. |

You know, activated items wouldn’t be so bad or hard to implement. The item more or less gives you an additional attack, complete with speed, energy cost, etc. Example: Dragonseye Staff (for Hypothetical Wizard Faction): Grants use of the Burning Breath attack. Burning Breath: E 40, Sp 3, Dmg 15. Attacks benched enemies, has a high chance to burn for 3 damage each turn for 4 turns. |

You say they wouldn’t be hard to implement, yet you have no idea how the system currently works internally. For all you know, they might require the entire codebase to be rewritten from the ground up. |

I mean mechanically speaking. Clearly I have no idea code-wise. But if feasible, they seem like the next logical expansion for items. |
