Hasn’t anyone ever heard of newgrounds?

Pretty much everyone here has. Newgrounds is much different, and personally I would not really want to put my work on it. Kongregate is much cleaner and has immediate access to chat, as well as upcoming features that are different. Kongregate also rewards its developers by immediately offering up to a 50% rev share from ads, something that is pretty new and has been needed in the community for a long time. If Kongregate “blows” then why is it getting so much industry attention and favor?

If you have something to post, try to be a bit more mature about it. You are free to have your preferences and encouraged to discuss them, but making your first post a “this website blows” post is a bit immature and will not get you any favor.

Newgrounds still exists, and you’re welcome to go there instead.

well personally, i think newgrounds sucks. how you find your way around on that site sucks….

They both have great features and concepts… you know newgrounds and kongregate. I just find kongregate to be a lot better.

Wow, my eyes are open. Presented with such fantastic and flawless logic, I had to accept the message he was spreading. With masterful use of such persuasive, mature language I cannot fight his advanced logic. Apparently I have been so stupid and ignorant that I didn’t notice that not only does this website “Blow,” there’s also a website called “newgrounds,” which I assume is much better than this one. I visited newgrounds and was in awe at the progress they have made compared to Kongregate. They’ve taken progress in a new direction. Not only do they not have achievements or cards, (a fantastic business decision – who likes those anyway?) they also have some swell clubs of developers renowned for producing great flash. The Kitty Crew, Glocks, Locks, and Clocks have created some great stuff, such as a large red “B” and a spastic cat “blowing” someone. They also have plenty of Pokemon hentai quizzes, something we were promised by Greg here but never received. These should attract a well-meaning and mature crowd, one I am sure to join. Farewell, Kongregate.

This thread is over a year old and the poster hasn’t been here for ages, so there’s probably not a whole lot of use responding to it.

Actually, I never saw it, and seeing TrueMerc and achilles responses made it worth it. :)

Newsground Sucks. Flashes take ages to load with the newgrounds Loader. No chat. bad rating. Bad point system. Kongregate rulz

sarcasm starts yea, newgrounds is wayyyy better. like i mean, who wants stupid card challenges and badges, besides, chat is useless, right, all you have to do is play ur game and totally forget how to communicate. the games load so slow, which is great, giving u more time to just stare at a blank screen, just DIEING to see when the load bar will reach quarter completed. oh, and i love the places where trolls spawn. sarcasm ended the truth is, the flash games on newgrounds load faster on kongregate, they’ve actually got badges, and the games aren’t that bad and the developers make good games, when they’re on kongregate
