Chain Comments: Are the admins doing anything about them and morons who litter them?

Lately, there have been too many morons littering chain comments. I bet everyone has seen those comments: “Don’t read this… you’ll be kissed by the love of your life… blah… blah… blah… if you don’t post this comment at least 3 times, your dick will explode… blah… blah… blah…”

Are the admins going to do anything about the chain comments?? The admins need to start handing out warnings and bans, because all those chain comments and littering are getting REALLY annoying.

And the comment littering has been getting worse in the past week. Make those morons stop, for goodness sake.

Well all the Admins can do is delete the posts and give them a warning. But if they are caught doing it again i guess they get banned.

We’ve already set up an automatic filter to keep a few chain letters out. But I’ve been deleting a ton that get through, myself. Whenever I notice them, I’ll wipe the person’s comments and immediately ban that account for one week. I don’t bother with warnings for something like this. I see so many of them that I’m sure I must miss a lot, though.

But yes, it is something that we’re taking action against. Post any offending accounts here and we’ll clean them out.

Change title and sticky? Just a thought.

Yeah, probably, though I don’t think they’re bad enough to warrant an automatic ban like the chain letters and other blatant spam. Most of the Marios and epic signs are probably a bit more innocent; what we really need is to clarify the rules a bit for new users…

Why yes, it is. Very much fun. So much fun I spent 3 hours this morning doing it, and got no sleep.
