hot new games selection

GREG! HOW DO YOU SELECT the hot new games on the site? My game got a rating of 3 on the 2nd page and was not select to be ‘hot’. http://www.kongregate.com/games/zcollvee/endles… now this runescape thing comes along with a rating of 2.5 or sumthing and is featured? I need an explanation greg, how do you really select these hot new games?

I know you all are busy with your runescape ranting but this is almost the same… Kongregate listen to me! BUMP

I think that games are featured if:

-They get very high ratings and are talked about throughout the message boards, even without badges
-They are a sequel to a series that is bound to be popular
-(In Runescape’s case) The affiliate requests to be featured in order to become an affiliate

These are just my guesses, but if you haven’t noticed, all featured games are raging popular and or/are high rated (4.0+ usually)

well most of them are 3+ and space station jason was 3. >_<

I think it has t do with your quality not just rating. If you have even a decent game it is likely to get featured.
