Hmm, reward this week?

I’ve been thinking, with this “Buried Treasure” week out, maybe kongegate should give out rewards for completing a certain amount of the challenges. I was thinking something like this: “Golden Treasure Adventurer Badge” – Completed all 5 of the challenges during “Buried Treasure” week. 30pts. “Silver Diggin’ Explorer Badge” – Completed at least 4 of the challenges during “Buried Treasure” week. 20pts “Bronze Pirate Apprentice” – Completed at least 3 of the challenges during “Buried Treasure” week. 10pts “Wanna-be Venturer Badge” – Completed at least 1 of the challenges during “Buried Treasure” week. 5pts

That sounds awesome :) Also maybe like a medal in your profile that show you took part in this special event? I dont know but thats a great idea and i hope the staff consider it.

I certainly don’t understand why should they reward you for getting points.

Thanks for agreeing, I thought of this as soon as the event started. I personally love this idea! It fits good. I also like what you said, a profile ribbon for participating.

a medal is good, but no points absolutely, and must not be badge, coz people who miss the event that have a clean sheet will be ruined…

…Followed by “Huge oxymoron” badge, awarded for getting every weekly award for a month, etc.

But seriously, this wouldn’t work. Some people are too busy, and they’ll be unhappy that they missed one and didn’t get the reward. This has also been discussed before.

Existing thread? Yeah, lock this thread. Yeah I kinda like the medal idea too.

maybe something instead of easy, hard, medium, impossible something like special. where you don’t get any points for it

Ok, This is now an idea going towards the staff, I’ll be making some badges for the achievements I made up. x.x

If anyone did all the challenges in Buried Treasure Week, they’d have 100 points. If they got all the badges as well, I’m guessing they’d have around 200 points. And then, if your thing was implemented, by the end of the week, they’d have somewhere around 265 points.

There’s a reason it’s called ‘treasure’ ;)

A bonus challenge at the end of the week might be fun, where you need to get slightly more than the points challenges asked for in each game (for example, 25k in jumpcat). It would reward being good at all the games in general, or putting the practice in over the week.

Why would completing all of the Buried Treasure Week challenges be 60-pts? Why would you get any points for completing most of the challenges? You get points from it anyways.

I’ve got an idea – how about you get 100 points for completing all the challenges? And 80 for completing 4, and 60 for finishing 3, and…
