The Badges Page

I noticed that you now limited the number of badges on a ‘Page’ and I think it is quite annoying when I try to look through which badges I have in the Unachieved Badges box, please change that back to full, it would help. -GIA :D

I think the current badges page is easier on the Kong servers. I remember one of the admins saying that they will improve it over time.

Just add filters to badges → Sort by Difficulty/Date/Game-Type/etc.

That would help very much Snake, I hope they do add that. AND make it full, or at least more on a page.

Guy_In_Armour: You know, if you use firefox, there’s this handy kongregate sidebar extension you might be interested in. It’s got all the badges, with different viewing settings, shows your basic profile details (Name, Level, Friends, No. Badges, you get the idea) the current card, and all at one side of the page (like history and bookmarks), so you don’t need to navigate away from the current page.

I don’t know why, but unless I am using Firefox 3.0, the only Sidebar badges filter I can use is Achieved by…

That’s why we’re still in “Beta”.

Having as many badges on a page as they did was killing the Kongregate servers. They had to switch it to how it is now to lessen the strain. They have said that this is only a temporary solution though. So they are working on something.

I actually like this system better.It’s at least dividing your gotten badges from your ungotten badges.

but don’t rely on it, that they would change it soon.

Like about the rate-limit… they do nothing. ( yeah… i’m mad about it )

if they just make it let you choose like 30, 40 of more badges per page

go to your profile and than click all badges to see which ones you still have to do, but some filters would be helpfull

It hasn’t even been a month. Give them time. (Though it seems like they should just have to change the variable.)

Well, even though it’s quite understandable that they don’t show every badges on the same page, it wouldn’t take much than a few hours to make :

1) Separate pages for the badges you have and the badges you don’t.
2) Allowing a filter system that goes from the current 20 (or so …) badges to 40 or 50 badges per page.

However, they still have some time before we can begin to talk about “unreasonable” delays.
