eh? |

You’re kinda late, you know. This 30 per day thing was introduced a while ago. It was created to prevent people who used scripts to spamvote. Spamvoting. Bad. |
I like it at 30 then otherwise I’d have to go around rating games for hours and I couldn’t stop myself. And then yeah people could get hundreds of points just for rating a hundred games 1 star without even playing them. |

Here you’ll find a lot of information. |
lol this kid has so many pages of just rating games. |
at least he rate games. |
i understand but that dang rule still ticks me off |
whats a 30 point rate limit? |
It means you can only rate 30 games a day, and therefore get only 30 points by rating each day. It was implemented since someone created a script which would rate hundreds of games in small amounts of time. |

Why don’t people actully get badges!! |
Because they don’t want to work for their points? |
Those were the times when I could rate 120 games a day to get next level. Ehh, good old times.. |
amen i miss those times to |
30 votes per day is not enough, 50 is. |
i say 40 |
I think 30 per day is fair, taken into account the average time you would actually need to play the game to make sound conclusion. Some games are pretty deep and take more than mere few minutes of gameplay to appreciate their true beauty. |

I have about 95% of the badges on this site.
Limiting total game votes per day is BAD. Voting cooldown timer like the Newgrounds has for the win! |

We’ve been through this before, it wasn’t even about the fact that that people were earning points illegitimately, those can be traced with relative ease. It was because the voting script was working by sending A LOT of requests (we’re talking thousands) to the chat server and it caused lags and crappy service for all of us, especially if it was run by a number of people. Although yes I do find the 30 a day limit very annoying, I’m trying to rate all the games as they appear (typically takes me from 1.5 to 2 hours a day) and I’m already “down” to around page 9 or 10 (depending on the day). I’m leaving for a convention on thursday so I can only imagine I’ll be at around 15 after the weekend. And in September I’ll probably be gone for over a week… so I expect to find myself somewhere in the 20s or even early 30s afterwards. I believe we were told that the limit will be increased (possibly to 50) though I only had it quoted by another user so I can’t be sure it’s not a rumour. Personally I would appreciate it if new games (like for a first couple days) were free from the limit, but I imagine it’s probably hard to actually program or they would already introduce some more user friendly solution. |

i have 100% of the badges….and i wish i could get more points but i need to wait for badges…i would rather just rate all the time |
