Okay, so BenV Rick Roll’d people with Kongai, so why isn’t he banned? Why isn’t that removed? (you know “Sonny 2” will be removed eventually)

I don’t mean to blow this out of proportion – we all know Rick Roll is annoying and overdone, but why is it okay for the Kongregate staff to do this and no one else? (for example, zakia.)

BenV is a staff member and the Kongai Rick Roll was a company April fools joke. There is no comparison. You seriously think we should ban the guy who worked on Kongai, chat and the API and does other flash coding here? Get serious.

A non staff member imitating someone else is completely different. That account is possibly bannable just on the imitation alone. I see anyone else doing it as totally unnecessary. If the site owners want to do it as an April fools joke it’s one thing; but allowing others to put up their own is another. Apples and oranges. Any comparison is plain silly.

If the company modified the home page for April fools, does that mean a hacker should be allowed to modify the page any day he wanted too? Or on April fools for that matter? It’s Kongregate, so Kongregate can do what they like. It doesn’t mean you can.

The creators of this site can do whatever the heck they please. They decide which non games can be here and they allow some to stay. If they decide to not allow some, that’s within their right.
