Jimgreer is a staff member and probably had a reason to remove it, then. If you make an appropriate avatar, then you will have nothing to worry about.

Oh, and another edit: Your avatar you just changed into may give seizures. If it was your old one, it is probably very smart to replace it, or risk a ban.

Sounds pretty legitimate to me. Sorry if it took a long time to make, I recommend next time being a little more careful about the animation you use. It is very possible your avatar wasn’t harmful at all, but I know the staff probably made a good choice in this. Nobody wants to have a case on their hands.

I recommend making another one, or going to the arts forum and requesting a certain avatar be made. We have many good artists here on Kongregate.

Seriously, if anyone browsing this site has latent epilepsy, that avatar is sure to bring it out. And even for those that don’t, it’s incredibly annoying.

Check the art forums, people can fill requests there pretty quickly. :D

I stared at that av for a whole minuite and nothing happened. If ppl dont want to see it use the esc button like marh said or move the bottom scroll bar over if you can. I honestly can not see how that av can give ppl seziures. Maybe if you are sensitive to that sort of thing but other than that its fine.

Games do not (generally) have lights flashing in such a manner.

If not wanting to give myself epilepsy is “wimpy”, then so is not wanting to skydive without a reserve parachute. People have different tolerances for that sort of thing.

Flashing avatars are very annoying, and for people who have epilepsy they are even more uncomfortable to look at than everyone else. I’m changing your avatar again. Please create a version of your animation that doesn’t have a flashing or rapidly animating background.
