How did YOU find out about Kongregate?

This topic is merely just to see where we have found out about Kongregate. Maybe we can figure out what we need to do to expand.

I found out about Kongregate by playing on Addicting Games.com

I liked the site, It still has a few games Kong doesn’t (Downhill Rush for example) but back in… May? Well, Warlords came out and I could only play a few races, and decided to come to Kong and play it. I signed up and here I am, level 23 with 3560 points and 13 pages of badges :).

How did YOU find out about Kongregate?

I got absorbed in Monster’s Den over at Armor Games. When I found out there was a sequel, and that there were classes only available at Kong, I couldn’t resist. When I found out Kong had badges, I signed up immediately. I love achievements.

i was playing speck revouloution on onemorelevel.com way back in july 07, and i accidently clicked the kongregate ad, and then when i saw the chat room and the badges, i had to sign up

When I first played the first warlords and saw that I couldn’t be all of the classes unless I was a member of Kongregate.

When jmtb02 showed us how awesome the site was.

In fact, it was the 4th thread created.

JayIsGames apparently, I don’t really remember much about it except that I started with Jay in my Friends list.

i was playing on another online gaming site and they had a link for it and i got addicted to kon so now all i play is kongregate

Through a steampunk site.

I believe I found it searching for a good gaming site. The badges and great community made me stick around.

There was actually an interview in my school paper about it. It was pretty cool. I think they interviewed Greg. This was March of 2007. Not sure how my school paper got the article, but I’m sure LSU didnt fly to CA to interview Greg, lol.

I don’t know I was playing a game on a website then I clicked on an ad and it took me to kongregate.

June of 07, I added the Kongregate application, by pure chance, on Facebook. Went to the main site, starting playing… And never stopped. Here I am, level 36, 22 pages of badges, 84 cards…. you can do a lot in a year and a half.

My friend, Cheebsta, gave me the website for DTD and I loved the game. Got on a few days in a row as a guest and wanted to chat so I signed up. Kong addict ever since.

www.jiggmin.com I was gonna play Kongregate Racing (way before Platform Racing came out) and it said to play on Kongregate. There were people of my nationality (portuguese) and badges.. and I decided to sign up.

I think it was a link off of Armor Games, but i don’t remember exactly.
